I haven't heard this one in a minute.....1992.....Saigon Kick.....Love is on the way

Gosh. I don't think I've heard that song in twenty years.

Used to be on the radio almost every time you turned it on there for a while.

I like those kinds of songs, but I never post em.

Power Ballads are of Satan. :aargh:
That one's about as good as they get.

"Saigon Kick’s curious moniker was allegedly inspired by a conversation about all of the Vietnam movies being released in the late ‘80s -- Platoon, Rambo, Born on the 4th of July, etc. -- whereupon one future band member turned to another and said: “Man, Hollywood is on a real Saigon kick right now!”

I don't really consider it a "power ballad" like say Slaughter's Fly to the Angles.....Now that's a power ballad!

More like Queensrÿche's - Silent Lucidity

What, Cinderella power ballads?! :102:

Nah. A lot of unknown's actually.

I've got a monster of a music collection, Duke.

Around 1400 complete albums, mostly ranging from the mid to late 80s and early 90s.

When the self-loathing grunge came along I started listening to a lot of European stuff. A lot of it is really good. A lot of AOR stuff, too.
