I guess I have to explain reality to the Trumpers, so they can understand!

Interesting take especially when the economy is soaring then the supporters of the President at the moment give him all the credit for it and he takes full credit for it. It is true a lot of the things that impact the economy are beyond any Presidents control rather the economy is doing good or bad but if your going take credit for the good you get the blame when it's bad. You don't get to say it's all me when it's good and I have nothing to with it when it's bad either take both the credit and the blame or accept neither.

The funny thing is that Japan did shut down the economy right away and they have done 10 times better than us (read the link I enclosed), meaning that facts do not support your statement.
Africa didn't and their numbers were better than anyone. BTW, neither did SD and they had great numbers as well.

The problem with Trump the first time around was he had no political experience and was/is incompetent. Now, he knows how to do damage and he has revenge on his mind. That is why he is dangerous this time around.
I hate to break this to you, Lucky but Kamala Harris has no executive experience at all. She's never run anything and she's got a serious problem retaining staff which tells you that she's a shitty boss.

A President doesn't need "political experience". They need executive experience. You'd be hard pressed to find someone with more of that than Trump.

Administrative experience isn't special. Executives are mostly morons, dependent upon stakeholders and their delegates to be productive within an organization. Without populism, executives are held accountable, and that's when they fold.

Its an age old argument that never has been settled. How much control does the president have over the economy and how much credit does he deserve in a 4 year period.

Economic growth up

gasoline price way up

well depends on what you focus own

Still the big lie was his comments on COVID 19 as he downplayed it to look good

The one thing that sticks in my mind is Trumps comments on COVID

Covid-19 will go away ‘like a miracle’ its only a few cases

Its only a few cases and nothing to worry about

Suggested checking if disinfectant could be injected into humans

15.7 million new jobs?

Wow!

What did Biden do to cause that miracle?

How much have rents increased because Harris failed to stop 12 million illegals from moving in?

Only the Hoover admin lost more jobs than the Trump admin. That's how bad Trump's economy was.

Biden, he performed an economic miracle, creating a booming economy on the wreckage of the Trump economy, then taming a global inflation problem without causing a recession.

Remember, Trumptards, you can't gaslight anyone who isn't part of your fascist imbecile cult. Though you'll keep trying. After all, the dumb propaganda is all you have.

Biden saved America, and that's why the Trump cultists hate him. Trump cultists know they can't achieve their Stalinist utopia here unless the economy is destroyed.

Executives are NOT "mostly morons" because if they were...then they'd be getting fired in rather short order! In the Private Sector incompetence at the Executive level earns you a pink slip. On the other hand in the Public Sector you can be a complete moron and keep your job until the next administration comes in and replaces you. Mayor Pete is a perfect example of this. So is Anthony Fauci.

And Biden and Kamala, complete morons
Joe Biden was a fixture in the Senate from the time Richard Nixon was in office and he's always been one of the dumbest people in that body. As Barack Obama warned "Don't ever underestimate Joe Biden's ability to fuck things up!"
Kamala's handlers won't let her speak to reporters because they know whenever she opens her mouth...unless she's reading off of a teleprompter...she's probably going to say something REALLY stupid!

The economies of both Presidents were badly distorted -- Trump's by COVID and Biden's by the global inflationary spike that was caused by the collapse of global supply chains coming out of the lockdowns.

And, assigning full credit or full blame to a President for a given economy -- with all the domestic and global economic currents and black swan events changing conditions hourly -- is intellectually dishonest, intellectually lazy, ignorant, or some combination therein.

Letting energy prices spike helped mightily to cause inflation. California has some insane rules for truckers also as a fair percentage of employment and their wealth comes from imports from Asia to their ports. Then add the printing press legislation that was much more than needed and was obviously Progressive Socialist Communist payoffs.

Then explain what happend. Be specific. Other than calling other people names, you don't have the first clue about the economy or business.
A progressive like you saying that someone else doesn't have the first clue about economics or business is rather amusing, Dragonlady.
