I got a blue one - a week or so ago, too. But didn't think about asking about it. There are only 2 options when you give rep .... this will be interesting to find out why! lol

Whether positive, or negative, if a person has no rep "power", they're just going to be bluish gray. They have to have a rep power of at least 2 to give you a red negative rep, or a rep power of at least 1 to give you a green positive rep.
