Gaetz allegedly flew 2 women to New York, paid them for sex.....Living the life!

Because they are career prosecutors that go from one administration to another and are NOT political appointees.

The prosecutors that went with the investigation under Barr to the continued investigation under Biden.

I think Gaetz is very unqualified and will harm the Doj instead of helping it or cleaning it up.

If they are really all getting lawyers as the right wing claims it's because Trump and his ilk are known to make up crap, distort, twist, and lie to punish who they think harmed Trump personally....and people whose lives and livelihood, and alao given their whole lives to their careers (and feeding their families) can be wrongfully attacked by Trump and his minions and they could unjustly lose their lifelong livelihood and retirement, that they've worked for, for decades.

With the way Trump and his followers have abused people who they think are against him, whether illegal or the likely NOT illegal, I'd be lawyering up too!

It's not political appointees he's going after, they leave each admin change. These are prosecutors or analysts, or whatever, that do these jobs come rain or shine, one political party, after another...they are backbones or rudders.....the political guys that come and go, are the flesh or muscle...imo.
Believing career lawyers can't be political is you being a liar or stupid.

Why? They are hired by both republican and democratic administrations, to do jobs that continue from one administration to the next....not even asked their political party, (though it is your ungodly Trump that tried and did change that...)

My father was a registered Democrat when he served 22 years in the USAF ending as Chief Master Sergeant! He served Commander in Chiefs from both political parties equally. My sister and I were adults, before we knew what political party my dad belonged to....!!!

Yes, he was a registered Democrat, but he never ever let it rule his job....he was A-political.

It can be done, and is done.

Hard to judge without knowing if these are political employee donations or career employees in the Doj and considering all the departments in the DOJ that are A-Political, or whether these are career prosecutors donations, which we are talking about....I would expect the menial jobs are likely democratic voters because democrats push govt jobs as good career jobs, even for their janitors....the DOJ has about 120,000 employees in all....

LOL What a quaint thought. Other than Comey, you know that all of the scumbags that cooked up and executed operation crossfire were "career" employees. The ones targeting Catholics were "career" The ones targeting "pro-lifers" are "career" The ones colluding with social media were "career" The ones that buried Hunter's laptop were "career"

YEs, they should be afraid for their jobs. Very afraid.

At their jobs, I believe they are...with only few exceptions....and not always a Democrat as an exception, a republican could be one of them too....things have changed since Trump, he's worked real hard at making ALL govt jobs "political"..... political in the sense of Him, support or non support of him, not necessarily political party imo.

We're all better off with a mixture of dems and repubs as career employees....they help keep govt straight imo, with whistleblowers ratting out the other side, when they do something wrong.

In general, the justice dept career prosecutors and FBI were generally registered republicans....with Republican FBI directors with 10 year appointments.

Have we ever had an FBI director that was not a Republican, even under democratic presidents?

Mueller, Comey, Wray, Freeh, Hoover, etc etc etc

Did you see the voting results for DC and northern Virginia, you actually believe there are an equal number of D's and R's working for the federal government? All top positions that you are referring to serve whoever the highest bidder is, end of story, they're all corrupt to the core.

Ahem, you must be blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.
Hmm, letting children mutilate themselves under the guise of changing their gender when you actually can't, teaching them abortion is fine, and teaching them that homosexuality is not sexual deviancy is fruit you would point to

Only 43% of DCs population are white, of which many of those are Europeans, foreign diplomats, and some duel citizens from what I just read. I would expect the majority of D.C. voters to be Democrats.

Most politicos living in DC as Congress and senate critters, vote in their own state and are NOT DC voters, though their staffers might live there, usually they live outside of the district because any safe neighborhoods are too expensive!!!

Now that you mention it, that seems very likely. By going after the lawfare-waging fascists of the last 8 years, he will prove himself willing, able, and ingrain continue Trump’s plans as documented in Project 2025.

What have you “seen?”

You’ve read about third hand accounts of anonymous accusations involving girls conveniently just before age 18.

You would not post that if you realized how flattering that picture is.

2025 is BS giving leftists something to talk about.

Just because it's written doesn't make it true. Left written is generally BS, can't think of an instance otherwise.

I have watched very little of Gaetz, he gets on my nerves. He's a dick, and flash decision perhaps a psychopath too. Eyes don't lie, something aint right about that ****. Perhaps I don't know shit, but I don't know; he looks like shit to me:p okay I'll stop.

A word salad that vice President Harris would have been proud of.

The idea that during the Trump years and the four years before his reelection attempt, the department of justice were just sees non-partisan crime fighters who happened to run across real crimes committed by their chief political rival is a little silly.

We’re all grownups here, can’t we just admit that the attempt to subvert democracy failed and he retired to a neutral corner?

Your leaders, seeing the handwriting on the wall, are backpedaling from their previous stances and are expressing willingness to work with Trump. Joe and Mika are only the first of the media to do that.

Our side will fight for the constitutional process, and your side can fight for your policy choices at all cost no matter how quickly they change.

Eyes don't lie. We don't want this **** anywhere near running our shit. Oh **** if he were ever POTUS. I've met so many people, 1000s of cons too. I know little about this piece of shit, but from what I've seen, this guy is a psychopath; at best borderline.

I hope you’re right…I think we need hardcore psychopaths to help destroy all things left.

Shortly after Trump came down that golden escalator, he started praising Putin and defaming America and American presidents and his sons were caught bragging about how the trump org has all the money they need without the USA banks, from Russia and a whole bunch of other things that brought my red flags screaming from the rooftops!

At the time .....I was praying and even screaming on here, that I hoped our Intel agencies and FBI were paying attention!!!

So, I have no problem with the FBI looking in to him....they would have been derelict of their duties, if they hadn't imo! This would not have been political.....but a duty!

Donald Trump's nominee for attorney general, former Rep. Matt Gaetz, allegedly paid for two women in 2019 to travel to New York to have sex, watch his appearance on Fox News, and attend the Broadway show "Pretty Woman," an attorney for the women told ABC News.

In an interview with ABC News' Juju Chang, Florida attorney Joel Leppard revealed new details regarding his clients' closed-door testimony before the private bipartisan committee -- including that his clients told congressional investigators that Gaetz paid for them to travel across state lines to have sex on at least two occasions.

The attorney also said that the women provided the committee with text messages they allegedly exchanged with Gaetz about the acquisition of drugs and payments that the attorney said were, in part, for sex.

Even if true....I'm not even mad....Their body, their choice....Am I right?

I mean everybody knows that politicians screw people. At least the whores got paid for it and got to enjoy a show to boot.

LOL.....It looks like this whole thing is shaping up to be Kavanaugh 2.0 and that's fine by me.

The letter "R" after their name means nothing if they are RINOS, deep state, war mongers and/or neo cons, globalists and their actions are in those directions.

Gaetz took two hookers to see Pretty Woman?!?

Talk about a lack of self-awareness! Holy SHIT!

Notice the way they word it, they claim Gaetz paid for their flights.

So now paying for a woman’s travel constitutes “sex trafficking”?

This means every man in America who pays a woman he is dating money for their travel is a “sex trafficker”. It is the most ridiculous grasping at straws I’ve heard yet.

What’s next? If you pay for a woman’s meal on a date, that means you are engaging in prostitution?
So...you've never heard of the Mann Act, eh?
