I dont give two craps about israel OR palestine

Do ever question WHY so many people hate Jews?

...

No, it is obvious.

Worthless pieces of pure excrement who amount to nothing in life and know they are lacking in anything that would even make them human cannot deal with the fact they are excrement, and so look for a convenient group to hate, instead.
Sounds like you are filled with hate and then lash out at others for your own inadequacies in this area.

What makes anti-Semitism attractive to sub humans such as yourself is that the canards surrounding Jews whip up resentment based upon the fact Jews are successful wherever they have lived,...
In truth, they have been thrown out of everywhere they have lived.

...you just blame Jews because they ARE creative, inventive, and productive.
I highly doubt that that is why they have been thrown out of everywhere they have tried to live.

So Jews hijacked the term Semite for themselves?

?

Some of you are simply too stupid for words.

The Jews who invented anti-Semitism for themselves must have been too stupid for words.

I realize you lack the IQ necessary to be educated beyond the level of a young child, but here you go, anyway.

Honestly, dealing with some of you prattling imbeciles is like trying to reason with monkeys in a cage throwing poo.

And that has to do with Jews being thrown out of every nation that they attempted to live in how?

The Jews, with the help of the Romans, tried to exterminate the early Christians because they threatened Judaism. Once Christianity became the state religion of Rome, Christians, in an unchristian manner, sought revenge. Later, it was just that Jews were a pain in the ass.
More antisemtic canards from the mentally ill antisemite. I have never seen anybody so obsessed with demonizng those evil Jooooos. You can shove your fake crocodile tears up your kazoo, more Christians have been killed and are currently being killed at the hands of Muslims.

Aren't Arabs also Semites too?
Yes. But the definition for antisemitism is hatred of Jews, you illiterate buffoon.

I miss the early days of the internet, when not everybody owned a computer, and so the process tended to select for intelligence.

Now that every dull-witted imbecile has one, we have to deal with idiotic crap like we see here.

Why is it such a big deal anyways? Is it because of the doom and gloom from religious prophecies? Lol...
How much can people care about two groups of people that resort to terrorism and destruction constantly?

why are you even in this board?
What do you mean?

If you don't care about this topic, why are you bothering to post at all. Find a topic you are interested in, pro or con.

What makes anti-Semitism attractive to sub humans such as yourself is that the canards surrounding Jews whip up resentment based upon the fact Jews are successful wherever they have lived, and attributes that success to their being greedy, manipulative and unduly powerful. That hits all the right buttons with those of you who are nothing but a walking, talking bag of protoplasm and have not yet arisen to the point of humanity.

Interestingly, this works on a cultural level as well as individual, as you Islamists who are steeped in your totalitarian pseudo-religion that demands you reign supreme above all else realize that you are living squalid lives because you are so busy burying your heads in your stupid ideology to ever amount to anything. You produce very little of value, do not create anything, are backwards thinking, inbred and unproductive. Instead of taking stock of yourselves and taking measures to improve, you just blame Jews because they ARE creative, inventive, and productive.

Most of us are Christians and believe that both Islam and Judaism are backward violent cults.

If creativeness, inventiveness and productivity of a people causes hate in others, the Italians, who have contributed more than any other people to western civilization, would be hated/blamed.

Most of us are Christians and believe that both Islam and Judaism are backward violent cults.
There are Jews and there have been throughout time who are trying to stop the violence. Sadly, the Jews in power have seen things differently.

If creativeness, inventiveness and productivity of a people causes hate in others, the Italians, who have contributed more than any other people to western civilization, would be hated/blamed.
FACT!

I always find it funny when people scream about anti-Semitism but talk all kinds of shit about muslims. LOL
"You cant hate the jews, but shove some pork down a muzzies throat! ROAR"

I do too. Some wags seem oblivious to the fact that both Arabic and Hebrew are Semitic.

No, it's just that some are too stupid to understand that the term was coined to refer exclusively to Jews and has remained quite consistent in use ever since.

As published in the original German, it had no hyphenation as it was never intended to be anti all Semitic people. It was simply the originator's way of creating a pseudo-scientific term to make such views more palpable.

I suggest you read real history and not the history the Arabs have been pushing since they first attacked the indigenous people of the land in 1920 because the guy who wanted to become leader of the Arab World post WWI decided all Jews needed to die.

-Palestine was NEVER a country.
-The name Palestine for the area came from the Romans who wanted to make all Jews forget their ancient land. That was in 135 CE
-Arabs only came in droves in the 7th century after Mohammad died in the 7th century CE, over five centuries AFTER the Romans renamed Judea and Samaria as what became translated as "Palestine"
- Palestinians are ARABS (Put two and two together)

Jews have always returned to their ancient homeland for the past 2000 years. It was not "A Bunch of Jewish Refugees" who started immigrating to Palestine, but indigenous Jews who saw no other place for them to move to but their ancient homeland. THAT had been going on, especially, since the early 1800s where more and more Jews saw that Europe was going to continue to be intolerant of Jews and decided to return to their ancient homeland.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for Jews to "leave" their ancient homeland, which has always belonged to them, no matter how many invaders found their way to it, and conquered it.

According to you and other ignoramuses like you, Jews are "Europeans" ?
Really?
Japanese people who live in Europe for centuries are "Europeans"?
Hawaiian people who have lived in Europe for centuries are "Europeans"?

Things proceed from sheer ignorance, which causes fear, which causes hatred.

So, the Christians and Muslims who consider themselves as replacement to Judaism have more rights to the land of Israel than the indigenous Jewish Nation?

Wait......you don't get it......

And possibly never will.

But there is always hope. Yeap, there is always hope that the bulb will light up some day.

The problem here is this:

Arab strategists have created an entire simplified version of history calculated quite cynically to appeal to the ignorant portion of the world left. First, they created a brand new people that had not existed and then retrofitted their existence back in time. This was undertaken to reverse the reality that it wasn't Arabs with all their considerable land and resources against Jews who had just this tiny sliver of marginal land, but of mighty Israelis against the poor, little Palestinians. It relied upon an emotional appear targeting the stupid.

After creating this new group, they then set about to mimic the language of other struggles. if you study the prattle of their illiberal western useful idiots, it is replete with references to "colonialism" (which only an utter moron would think the case, "apartheid" (despite the fact Arabs living in Israel have more rights than they do anywhere in Arab lands) and "Indigenous peoples" (despite the fact there are Jewish archeological remains dating back 3500 years and these brand, new "Palestinians" have existed for less than a century).

Today's authoritarian leftists, short on knowledge but eminently trainable, simply repeat all the cliché's they have been manipulated to repeat and do not look any further than that.

You want to get on my ass about semantics and your dumbass just said "arab strategists created Palestinians? Are they ******* grown in a lab?
LOL wtf

I realize you are too ignorant to know any better, but yes -- the term "Palestinain" used to describe local Arabs is a fabrication of the 20th century.

Before being encouraged to call themselves such, they were merely Arabs.

Izzat so.

>> The first clear use of the term Palestine to refer to the entire area between Phoenicia and Egypt was in 5th century BC Ancient Greece,[7][8] when Herodotus wrote of a "district of Syria, called Palaistinê" in The Histories, which included the Judean mountains and the Jordan Rift Valley.[9][10][11][12][13][14] In the treatise Meteorology c.340 BC, Aristotle wrote, "there is a lake in Palestine".[15][16][17][18] This is understood by scholars to be a reference to the Dead Sea.[19] Later Greek writers such as Polemon and Pausanias also used the word, which was followed by Roman writers such as Ovid, Tibullus, Pomponius Mela, Pliny the Elder, Dio Chrysostom, Statius, Plutarch as well as Roman Judean writers Philo of Alexandria and Josephus.[20] Other writers, such as Strabo, referred to the region as Coele-Syria[a] ("all Syria") around 10-20 CE.[21][22]

In 135 CE, the Greek "Syria Palaestina" was used in naming a new Roman province from the merger of Roman Syria and Roman Judaea after the Roman authorities crushed the Bar Kokhba Revolt.

.... The term "Peleset" (transliterated from hieroglyphs as P-r-s-t) is found in five inscriptions referring to a neighboring people or land starting from c.1150 BC during the Twentieth Dynasty of Egypt. The first known mention is at the temple at Medinet Habu which refers to the Peleset among those who fought with Egypt in Ramesses III's reign,<< (Wiki)

Now I'm not a mathematician but I do understand linear time, and that looks to be at least 2500 years.

And then there's this:

330px-Original_Dixieland_Jazz_Band_Palesteena_Victor_78.jpg

A tune popularly known as "Lena from Palesteena". This record came out in 1920.

Change geography and history all you like.

Until the Arabs adopted the term Palestinian to define their nationalism, Palestine was always used to refer to a Region. Not a Nation, or a People.
There is no history anywhere and by any people which refers to a People or a Nation calling themselves "Palestinians" from "Palestine". Much less any Arabs.

The Mandate for Palestine referred to the region of ancient Jewish homeland because the British did not want to call it Israel. That would have been too easy and would have meant that the British government approved of the Jews regaining sovereignty over any part of their ancient homeland.
And the British never meant for the Jews to actually achieve statehood.
(Why, oh why did they end up on the Hashemite (Jordan) side attacking the Jews after they declared Independence in May of 1948? )

The Arabs after WWI wanted to be part of Greater Syria. They did not envision any Palestine State, but all of the Mandate for Palestine as part of the Arab Nation (or Muslim Nation) which is what they have always identified as, living in Egypt, Syria, Lybia, or anywhere else.

Where does the Nationality of "Palestinians" come from?

Ask the KGB.

If there were always a people who called themselves Palestinians, then why are they not identified as such before the Mandate for Palestine where both Arabs and Jews were called Palestinians and given a Palestinian passport if desired?

The Deception of Palestinian Nationalism – Stanford Review

Historically, the Palestinian “desire for statehood” and “need for liberation” was invented in large part by the Soviet Union. It is no coincidence that the blueprint for the PLO Charter was drafted in Moscow in 1964 and was approved by 422 Palestinian representative hand selected by the KGB. At that time, the USSR was in the business of creating people’s liberation fronts. The KGB founded the PLO as well as the National Liberation Army of Bolivia (1964) with Ernesto “Che” Guevara at its head and the National Liberation Army of Colombia (1965).

---------------------------

So the question to your comment is:

So what if there is a 1920 record with uses the word Palestine?

Look, or rather listen to the record:

It does not sound as if it is about any Palestinian Arabs, does it?
Hint, the band is Jewish, and the Region/Area, was being called Palestine for the sake of the Mandate for recreation of the Jewish Ancient homeland.
Before....the British government decided to take out 77% of that mandate for the Jews and give it to the Hashemite Arabs to create what became Jordan.

Oh, by the way, ALL JEWS living in Transjordan were systematically murdered out of their properties or run out of there by 1925, and never allowed to return.

Oh you moron --- that band is Italian, not Jewish (meaning USians of Italian heritage).

Everything after the initial sentence above is wasted energy. My point there had nothing to do with "nations" or "Arabs" or whatever Tangent Turnpike you paid a toll to travel. It's simply demonstrating that the name "Palestine" -- the word itself --- is thousands of years old and was not, as the previous poster would have had us believe, invented in the 20th century.

Kudos for posting the original record from 1920 --- in which time, by the same point, it would not have been used in a popular music publication if "Palestine" were an unknown word.

Every time I go by this name the song starts playing in my head, and I used to play it with a singer. It wasn't my choice but I found it musically interesting --- the composition is so Twenties. So here's another version from the same year:

The word Semitic refer to languages.

The term Antisemitism refers to only Jews.

anti-Semitism

Anti-Semitism, hostility toward or discrimination against Jews as a religious or racial group. The term anti-Semitism was coined in 1879 by the German agitator Wilhelm Marr to designate the anti-Jewish campaigns under way in central Europe at that time. Although the term now has wide currency, it is a misnomer, since it implies a discrimination against all Semites.

And what does "exactly" does that have to do with who are the indigenous people of the Land of Israel?

French, Spanish and Portuguese all come from the Latin.

Is that supposed to mean anything when it comes to who the indigenous people are in France, Spain, or Portugal?

"Semitic" is a linguistic term, Brighteyes.

I haven't even mentioned any "indigenous people". Except the Cherokee, but that's here, not there.

And no, such a term means nothing about those indigenous Europeans. More instructive would be how the Celts morphed the Latin of France and Portugal (and Galícia) into a different form than it would take in Spain, Italy, Romania and Switzerland.

I know exactly that the word Semitic refers to Languages and not People.
At least you also know that.

It sounded as if Hebrew and Arabic, coming from the same root was cause for the Arabs to have rights to any part of the Jewish Homeland. While the Jews would not have any rights to any part of Arabia where at least three Jewish tribes used to live in, before being killed, enslaved and expelled by Mohammad.
Just as the Jews are not given any rights to buy property, or get their properties and land back from what was known as TransJordan, and is now Jordan. An all Muslim, Arab country now.

You did not mean that, did you?

Well the Israelis having discovered world wide bigotry against them would just like to live in their own ancestral lands in peace.

And the Palestinians who have a claim to the lower coastal regions since the time of the ancient Greeks even before the Israelis' ancestors moved there want all of the land too.

So while an Israeli would never blow you up with a bomb a Palestinian surely would if given half a chance.

That's why it affects you.

Dude, the Jews have been hated for thousands of years. Don't give me that bullshit
And I am well aware the Palestinians are violent and shit. So us the Israeli govt.

Think of it as gang warfare with thousands if gangs in one big city.

Everyone is armed because every other groups wants to kill everyone else.

Palestinians are made up of hundreds of groups, but Fatah and Hamas are the majority in the PLC.

The other gangs give a certain deference to the larger groups but still cling to their own agenda.

Israel began with second hand equipment and weapons, and scavenged parts to make them work.

When Israel was attacked, even with inferior weapons, they still fought 5 well equipped armies to protect their state. Each war against Israel was repelled and in some Israel gained more land from Jordan and Egypt.

Palestnians for decades were attempting small raids and attacks but never forming a comprehensive army, till Fatah tried to over throw Jordan's king. King Hussein had offered them citizenship in Jordan and the position of PM to Arafat. Arafat through he could do better and lost after tens of thousands were killed. Arafat and his Fatah were forced to leave Jordan. Arafat started the same in Lebanon resulting in 15 yrs of civil war. Again Fatah lost and was forced to leave Lebanon.

Most of the time palestinians are still fighting each other in the camps. Almost weekly there is trouble in some camp or another.

Even after years of fighting most people are still armed. Another war is a breath away.

Palestinians have caused trouble in Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq and Syria. Everyone suffers because of the refugees and armed factions.

Syria has actually killed more palestinians than Jordan, Lebanon and Israel combined, but most did not care till the syria civil war. Assad had not love for them, his father and him used the palestinians for their own benefit.

The issue of jews is a petty distraction to promote a fictional Palestinian cause so others can gang political and military clout. Biggest "stick" wins, or so the game is supposed to go.

The middle east is not a jewish problem but a long standing feudal one. The Jews were just a call for most groups to unite together, for a short time.

In most mosques the prayer used to be "first the Saturday, then the Sunday people" Or "First Jerusalem, then Rome" This is really not about the jews but everyone else. Jews are just the door that needs to be opened for them to reach beyond.

The camps were and likely still are breeding ground for hate and several were also training ground for other terrorist groups in the world From Japan to the central and southern americas.

As individuals they can be great people but there is mob, insect, mentality that they do what their queen/leader, spiritual or military, says to the death. Some have gotten out, but too many remain circling round their singular leaders.

Fatah was made up of dozens of factions, but not is somewhat more singular in their thinking and actions. Somewhat!

Gathering a force against Israel is like gathering the all the gangs from Chicago, NYC and LA. Many would still end up trying to kill each other.

It is far more complex, but this is an analogy many might understand.

Unity against Israel keeps shattering and many arabs have already come to an unofficial peace with Israel. Many are trying to normalize relations. Some factions want to prevent that.

This will continue to be a struggle of factions with or without Israel. But, Israel does exist and will do what it must to protect itself and all it's people.
