but there is a mitigating factor. Additional labor supply. Having more workers puts downward pressure on wages. This also puts downward pressure on prices of products those workers produce.

then, if this labor supply is taken away. Then upward pressure labor costs, along with supply constraints for whatever those workers were producing.
