Trump started this gerrymandering fiasco in Texas by having them redistricting for the first time ever, mid 10 year census, to guarantee republicans more seats, and disenfranchise more voters of their representation than they already do....

California and Virginia were to combat what Texas had done...


What's sad about all of this is both sides of citizens, are fighting for taking away their own constitutional foundation of "we the people" governing through our representation via our vote....we are fighting with each other, to take our own rights and voices away....that's precisely what this gerrymandering does.

Complete crap. Texas was gerrymandered before.

Texas has a long history of gerrymandering, stretching back well before the modern partisan battles of the 2020s. The state’s redistricting practices have often been shaped by political dominance and internal party competition.
