Trump did not get impeached because a probe started. He got impeached because he was trying to leverage funds to Ukraine in exchange for dirt on Biden. And that was also what two years before the election. So if that’s when the probe started, how long do you really need to investigate something? If you don’t have anything to take to court within two years and you don’t have anything.

I think Trump was embroiled in his impeachment proceedings at the time this came out. The house was run by dumbocrats and there was no way they were going to look into Biden's misdeeds.
