The Justice Department is pushing for Devon Archer to report to prison — just days ahead of the former Hunter Biden business partner’s hotly anticipated congressional testimony, according to new court documents.
Manhattan federal prosecutors on Saturday filed a letter requesting a judge set a date for Archer to start his one-year sentence in a fraud case unrelated to the first son’s various scandals.
The request came after the Second Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed Archer’s 2018 conviction last Tuesday on two felony charges for his role in a conspiracy to defraud a Native American tribe.
Archer — who is set to deliver closed-door testimony to the House Oversight Committee on Monday about Biden — had been challenging the conviction.

Archer is expected to testify that Hunter Biden would dial-in his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden during various meetings with overseas partners, as The Post exclusively reported.
This is a key development in the GOP-led inquiries of the Biden family, because it potentially ties the president to his son’s business affairs.
President Biden has previously said, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”
The White House now says the president “was never in business with his son,” an apparent shift in verbiage downplayed by press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
For months, Biden administration officials have pummeled Republicans over their probe of the first family’s business dealings and have sought to drive home the notion that the president hasn’t been directly implicated.

Last week, Hunter Biden’s planned plea agreement with federal prosecutors burned down in flames after a Trump-appointed judge raised constitutionality concerns and found daylight between the two parties.

Hunter Biden’s best friend in business, Devon Archer, told House investigators that Hunter Biden included then-Vice President Joe Biden on speakerphone over 20 times with business associates to sell “the brand.”
Archer testified that one of those calls included a dinner in China with Jonathan Li of Bohai Harvest RST (BHR). Hunter Biden and Archer held their interests in the company through a shell company called Rosemont Seneca Thornton.
Archer confirmed Joe Biden attended a business dinner with Hunter Biden and business associates at Café Milano in Washington, D.C., in 2014. Yelena Baturina, the billionaire ex-wife of Moscow’s longtime mayor, also attended the dinner.
Republican investigators revealed Baturina transferred $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton on February 14, 2014.
The Biden Administration’s sanctions list excludes Russian oligarch Baturina, as Breitbart News reported.
In 2014, Archer and Hunter Biden both joined the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company with legal challenges, as it was under investigation for wrongdoing. Burisma paid Hunter Biden $83,000 a month to sit on its board.
Archer also testified that in December 2015, the co-founder of Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky, and Vadym Pozharski, an executive of Burisma, put pressure on Hunter Biden to get help from Washington, D.C., regarding the Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma for corruption.

Archer said that Hunter Biden, along with Zlochevsky and Pozharski, “called D.C.” to speak about the legal situation. Biden, Zlochevsky, and Pozharski stepped away to take make the call.
“Devon Archer’s testimony today confirms Joe Biden lied to the American people when he said he had no knowledge about his son’s business dealings and was not involved,” House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) said in a statement.
“Why did Joe Biden lie to the American people about his family’s business dealings and his involvement? It begs the question what else he is hiding from the American people,” he added.

Hunter Biden’s statements in court about a $1 million payment sent to one of his companies from a Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-linked entity neglects key details that call the stated reason for the transaction into question, The Federalist first reported.
During Wednesday’s hearing on his plea deal, Judge Maryellen Noreika questioned Hunter Biden on a $1 million payment distributed to Owasco, LLC, attributed in the plea deal’s statement of facts to “legal fees for Patrick Ho”— an executive of the CCP-linked CEFC China Energy. Both Hunter Biden and the Department of Justice omit information that make the reason behind the payment a bit murkier, such as the fact that Owasco, LLC isn’t a law firm and the payment wasn’t initially made to Owasco, LLC, The Federalist first reported.
Ho’s $1 million payment was initially made on Nov. 2, 2017 to Hudson West III LLC, a shell company co-owned by Hunter Biden, according to a U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs report. It was then wired to Owasco LLC —not the law firm, Owasco PC — on March 22, 2018, according to the transaction.

Records in the Senate report tell other stories about the transaction, claiming it was for “the purpose of conducting a market investigation of [a] natural gas project” that was later deemed unnecessary and refunded. In email from April 2, 2018, Hunter Biden “stated that the incoming wire amounting to $1MM on 11/2/2017 from CEFC Limited foundation should have gone to Owasco LLC, however, he provided the wrong wire instructions, and due to the large amount the transactions was not corrected until 3/22/2018, which consisted of an outgoing wire for the same amount benefiting Owasco LLC,” according to the Senate report.

Hunter Biden would dial in his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, on speakerphone into meetings with his overseas business partners, according to testimony expected before Congress this week from Devon Archer, the first son’s former best friend.
Archer, 48, who is facing jail for his role in a $60 million bond fraud, is scheduled to testify to the House Oversight Committee about meetings he witnessed that were attended by Joe Biden either in person or via speakerphone when Hunter would call his father and introduce him to foreign business partners or prospective investors.
“We are looking forward very much to hearing from Devon Archer about all the times he has witnessed Joe Biden meeting with Hunter Biden’s overseas business partners when he was vice president, including on speakerphone,” says Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the committee chairman.
One such meeting was in Dubai late in the evening of Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, after a board meeting of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, which was paying Hunter $83,000 a month as a director.
Archer, who also was a director, is expected to testify that, after dinner with the Burisma board at the Burj Al Arab Hotel, he and Hunter traveled six miles north to the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach to have a drink with one of Hunter’s friends.

In an email to Hunter and Archer on Nov. 2, 2015, one month before the speakerphone call, Pozharskyi explicitly demanded that they use their influence to “close down” the criminal investigation against Burisma.
Archer also is expected to detail other speakerphone meetings in his testimony, including a dinner at a restaurant in Paris where Hunter whipped out his phone and put his father on speaker to impress prospective investors

Hunter performed the same party trick as many as two dozen times in Archer’s presence, the Long Island-born father of three is expected to tell congressional investigators under oath.
Another former business partner, Tony Bobulinski, recalls Hunter offering to get his father on the phone during a meeting by the pool at the Chateau Marmont in LA.
“I am also aware of other Biden family business associates confirming that Joe would take phone calls from Hunter in the middle of business meetings and would weigh in via speakerphone,” says Bobulinski.
“Sitting with Hunter at Chateau Marmont before I first met Joe Biden on May 2, 2017, Hunter was adamant that his father takes his calls at any time, no matter what his lawyers say or with gatekeepers like Kate Bedingfield [former Biden spokesperson] playing interference.
“The American people don’t fully appreciate yet the key role Joe Biden played in the Biden family global influence peddling . . . I would equate it to a chairman’s role in a traditional business structure.”

Archer is expected to testify that “big guy” was a nickname used by Hunter’s business partners to refer to his father. Bobulinski also says Joe Biden is the “big guy.”
In a notorious 2017 email to Hunter and Bobulinski, their business partner James Gilliar outlined percentage equity breakdowns of a joint venture with Chinese firm CEFC, with “10 held by H for the big guy?”
The identity of the “big guy” also formed part of the grand jury investigation in Wilmington, Del., into Hunter’s business dealings.

Joe Biden, the most powerful man in the world, our commander in chief, and the nuclear codes at his fingertips.
So, what have we ended up with? A corrupt serial liar, someone who won’t answer pertinent and important questions, a work ethic that basically doesn’t exist, and lives in a woke world while allowing the rest of our foreign affairs to implode, China to blast ahead, and all the foreign leaders shaking their heads in disbelief.
Hmm..., Joe Biden presumably took all of Hunter's calls on his (Joe's) secret satellite or burner phone (which has been revealed). Direct line to the Biden crime family cartel boss. I wonder whether Congress has subpoenaed the records for that phone. Joe Biden still has that private phone because he answered it recently when one of the Congressional Republicans called the number. Joe Biden probably thought it was Hunter calling with a new influence peddling opportunity.
At tis point Congress should impeach Joe Biden and proceed with the trial, even knowing that there never would be a Senate 2/3rds vote to condemn Biden.
