Congratulations on your victory, your Honor.

So liberal activist hack judges can still be purchased with massive amounts of out of state money.

Am I supposed to be surprised by this?

So butthurt.
MAGAMuskers lost.
Not surprised.

Americans want voters to show an ID, Democrats don't. You can bet Democrats in Wisconsin are working on some form of new state ID that will allow illegal aliens to vote.
Do you really think there are a lot of illegal aliens committing voter fraud in Wisconsin?

Wisconsin voters have overwhelmingly approved a constitutional amendment to enshrine the state’s voter ID requirement.

The amendment passed with approximately 70% support, reflecting a broad consensus among Wisconsinites on the importance of safeguarding elections.

Currently, Wisconsin requires voter photo identification via state law. By adding it to the state constitution, the threshold to make changes or remove the requirement would be higher than a legislative majority by requiring voter approval of another constitutional amendment to do so. State law requires the following forms of photo identification to vote:

  • Wisconsin driver’s license,
  • ID card issued by a U.S. uniformed service,
  • Wisconsin nondriver ID,
  • U.S. passport,
  • Certificate of naturalization issued not more than two years before the election,
  • ID card issued by a federally recognized Indian tribe in Wisconsin,
  • Student ID card with a signature, an issue date, and an expiration date no later than two years after the election, or
  • Photo ID card provided by the Veteran’s Health Administration.
Well now, it would seem that the most important matter before WI voters was not the SC election.

Even 55% of WI dems supported it.
It was already law wasn't it?

Nice, my only concern is the student ID card that is signed being accepted. That seems pretty exploitable by foreign international students. Numbers are relatively low, so not a huge concern but someone could vote that’s not legally allowed to.

There were 2 big victories is wisconsin last nite

So WI has a solution, enshrined in their Constitution, now they just need to find a problem it will solve. I'm unaware of any serious voting issues

I've always had to show an ID to vote in person but I prefer mail-in voting so I hope VA doesn't take away that option.

Showing an id isn't a bad thing. Good on voters to approve. Crawford won. Another good thing. I have several conservative friends who voted for her so there were quite a few who did the same. I like that our state is divided.

I hope they do....Make election day great again.....Not 45 days worth of early voting like it is now.

What's the problem? You can always wait until election day to vote or do you just want to make life more unpleasant for others?

Virginia even has an Election Day holiday.....So why do we need 45 days of early voting?

It costs my small county dearly to do that.....I could find many better uses for it, or not have to budget for it at all.

Not buying it. I doubt the cost is much more and there are many who would have trouble getting to the polls. Since there has to be an absentee system, e.g., travelers, military, etc., why not open it to all?

I have to admit, we do make voting easy, and that is a good thing. I live in a blue state, and they clearly give you multiple options and an abundance of time. I'd also admit that it should not be a problem to present an I.D. before casting your ballot. Let's just say the German stock found in much of Wisconsin is all good with meeting that minimal requirement, and I am in agreement, have a damn I.D. or don't complain you can't vote.

We are not driving you down to the DMV to get one, call Uber.
