Story says he claimed being "sick" on the train and he went to the hospital. This seems to me a common cover for people about to be busted big-time... kinda like Michael Jackson skipping trial days because of 'back problems', etc. It's an attempt to garner a little sympathy, but it's so obvious and desperate.
