How would Jesus be treated by the media today?

Jesus never mentioned abortion or homosexuality. Would he get asked today about both? Most likely and I imagine his answer would be like the ones he gave when asked about things like this. Not what one expects.

Maybe something like "those without sin, cast the first stone".
He is on record though to reduce those sins. Progs promote them. And they get on others who are not Progs cases who question them and sin like vipers. In the end, the sin has still occurred but the deflection towards those who question them has achieved its purpose. We all are not perfect. But we should at least have standards to try to live by.

The moment he challenged the leaders of his supposed church for their greed and materialism they would be looking for a way to shut him up. They already symbolically nail him to the cross every Sunday so everyone will know what happens to those who go against the established religious authorities.
Again how could they when a liberal woman would of aborted him?

This BTW is proof positive Mother Mary was a Republican

The liberal media would claim him to be a socialist. They would hail him as a hero, but not for the actual reasons he is a hero.
This made no sense. Jesus was a hero of a person. You just said they would hail him as a hero. Which he is.

You then proceeded to whine that the literal son of God would be hailed as a hero.

So you finally comprehend the meaning of RINO?

Republican in name only
I can't imagine what it's like worrying if the snooty church ladies approve of you or not. Haven't met one yet that didn't have a guilty little secret. Are you one these eternal judgemental killjoys who are bent on stamping out fun? What's your secret? What did you do that makes you that afraid of Hell?

The right wing media would call him a socialist and a marxist
Nope. Socialism and Marxism have no use or role for His Church. Jesus put The Church first. Socialism and Marxism out the State first. What role could Jesus play in many Countries today who put the State first? Here in the states, Jesus can’t even be mentioned in a State run school, town square, or state-run public building.

Jesus would probably wonder why there are so many poor and needy in this country of great wealth.

Jesus was all about helping the least fortunate. Greed has overtaken his message. It's all about the almighty $ in the us.

He was justifying idolatry?

Read again.

10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

I have no idea where idolatry came into the discussion.

As soon as Jesus mentioned to Trump that he was living in an adulteress relationship you would have turned your venom on him.

Knowledge is swiftly replacing faith in this secular age, so not only is Jesus out of style in any re-appearance, his homonym, Jizu, the Chinese christ 250 B.C., would be much more in style, especially since the coming of the communist virus. Then too, the Pilgrims on the Mayflower were indeed practicing communism, though once off the boat, protection-racket coercion begins to be compromised.

Jesus would have been brutalized by the media as an insurrectionist. for he would have been called a homophobic Patriarchal Left wing nightmare, and don't even get him started on abortion.

Just imagine the cameras rolling at CNN after Jesus took out a whip in the Temple

He would have been arrested for inciting violence and put on trial for wanting to destroy the Temple

He took the whip out in the Temple after threatening to tear down the Temple

The Temple Will Be Destroyed
13 As Jesus was leaving the Temple, one of his followers said to him, “Look, Teacher! How beautiful the buildings are! How big the stones are!”

2 Jesus said, “Do you see all these great buildings? Not one stone will be left on another. Every stone will be thrown down to the ground.”
Why was he not more inclusive and tolerant?

And just listen to his other insurrectionist rhetoric

Matt.10:34 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." Eph. 6:17 "And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." That is aggressive wording.

To begin with, almost no one alive today would for one second believe any man actually had the "magical" powers we assign to Jesus. Everyone would think his powers were movie magic or elaborate technological based hoaxes. Second off, the tyrannical nature of our American government at every level would see Jesus arrested or shot to death by like ten cops, mere moments after he opened his mouth. These days, the State expects us to worship the State and nothing else. According to the State, the State must be our only true God. Unfortunately, Jesus would not last even a day, these days, after "coming out" as the Son of God.

I didn't say Jesus WAS a socialist or a marxist...I said the right would CALL him that

This thread is a projection of a well-known deceptive xian pathology concerning time. And since xianity is the #1 religion par excellence for the deliberate secretion of atheism, the delirium of the thread is worthy of expose.'

One can understand Jesus's inherent mental disorder wishing to project himself, once again away from eternity with his dad and back down to earth (let's face it, it's always a seductive place to be for most everyone except Jesus's dad). The pathology is that both he and his dad already know what will happen. Their half-lives are extremely short.

'According to Taylor, eternity should not be understood as a timeless state of being but rather as the gathering of time into an instant. "God's eternity," Taylor claims, "does not abolish time, but gathers it into an instant." Taylor's distinction has been made by many Christian thinkers but it is specious. There is no intelligible difference between abolishing time and gathering time into an instant.
....
The secular experience of time (cannot [italics]) be reduced to a series of discrete moments. On the contrary, (any [italics]) experience of time depends on retaining the past and projecting it into the future. This is the minimal form of living on, which is the condition for all forms of "gathering time." '

Haegglund mentions the violent pathology of religion's protection-rackets, here:

'In previous historical periods, it was not impossible to be an atheist but it was very difficult to be an atheist (publicly [italics]), and in the Unites States today it is (still [it.]) difficult, at least if you are running for office. Living in a secular society puts puts pressure on this hegemony of religious belief, not only because a secular society may lead one to live close to an collaborate with those who do not share one's beliefs, but also because domains previously claimed by religion are shown to function and flourish with it. In a society where the public good is decided on without reference to the authority of religion -- and where natural science provides explanations of the world that contradict religious claims -- religious belief can no longer justify itself in the same way.'
