Building the Temple in Jerusalem should be a no brainer…It will be a house of learning… It should not be that difficult to figure out where it stood using the new technologies available to us such as infrared to see where the blood was spilled and the new technologies to look into the earth to see where it originally stood… Even drones and satellites can help…I agree with Michael that the mosque and Dome should be left in place to protect a newly built temple.. It is actually humorous because those two “ houses” of worship were used to store ammunition by the Jordanians when they had control of this area from 1948-1967 so how holy can they be to Islam where they play soccer and turn their bottoms in the direction of these sites while they pray towards Mecca…But I digress.. The only one delusional here is you Breezewood…The original mandate for the Jewish state was supposed to be Jordan, the West Bank , Gaza and what is now the state of Israel…The promised territory was reneged on when Jordan was given to the Arabs by the British in 1922. The vast population of Jordan is Palestinian….That left some 15 per cent.. Then just before 1948 the Arabs were given some 9 per cent of this 15 per cent left over… Then just before Arabs attacked Israel with armies the Jews repelled them and ended up with some 9 per cent of the 15 per cent.. Of course the Arabs were not happy with this and attacked the Jews constantly after a major escalation Israel ended up with the 15 per cent.. The Temple Mount is sacred for devout Jews....

The red heifer issue has been resolved...thanks to a lot of selective breeding....

The other problem is the mount itself.
When Herod had the thing built up using whatever fill dirt they could find.....they inadvertently used many artifacts made of rock to fill the retaining walls. Then there's the underground tunnels and buried cedar beams that King David and Solomon used to build the place. Never mind what Constantine had done. A veritable treasure trove of history right there in one place. ALL needs to be carefully preserved and examined before even sifting through the fill.

Because the entire place is seismically unstable. Needing new fill dirt materials, shoring steel driven into the ground just to make it more stable.

The whole process of just recording what is there will take months. Then CAREFUL deconstruction and NOT DEMOLITION needs to happen. Then more reinforcements of the retaining walls with steel. So that the popular Jerusalem stone can be a facade.

The courtyard and retaining walls can be made of steel without violating the Jewish LAW.

But.....it will take a minimum of 18 months to two years of site prep before the first bit of anything can be brought in for construction. And that's going at breakneck speed.

There is roughly 5000 years of recorded history on this one site.

were they to rebuild on location their new temple - seems doubtful once started time to build would be a concern than the drawing and planning for the new structure they would relish the opportunity and spend even more time than necessary to complete just the initial phase and years, decades for the construction. being jewish - proving their infallibility.

The Temple building itself is already complete....every stone, hinge, doorknob, censure, wick trimmer and oil lamp are stored and awaiting construction with every face lettered and numbered. Complete blueprints detailing the placement of every numbered crumb.
Temple and Altar can go up and be complete in a matter of days, not weeks.

Getting to that point is the problem.

It's the deconstruction of existing structures that will take a long ti.e.

Now in order to identify the Levites....several DNA samples are necessary of original Levites to make a standard....then genetic testing for the other Castes/tribes.

Which WILL cause internal political issues as ONLY those from the Tribe of Judah is allowed to rule or be a part of the ruling class.

Which will cause all sorts of issues internally in the tiny nation. Then there's the issues of international marriages and those outside of Jewish nationality. (Gotta have 14 generations past the inclusion of a Gentile)

Any and all of this will create a huge amount of internal strife and division inside the Jewish community. Then there's the resulting power struggles within the nation as a result. Almost making them defenseless while ALL the Muslims in the world will be seeking the complete destruction of the Jews for making Mohammed an obvious false prophet (as if that has not already happened) .

There is an exact replica in São Paulo Brazil it took 4 years to build it…You guys need to think out of the box and stop thinking in the way things were done before..Have you seen the new technology in building homes using 3 d printing and AI… The temple could be built , fast, efficiently and cost effective… If little Israel could dredge the bay of of Haifa and use the sediment and rocks to build a huge port facility to bring in ships with millions of containers and offload them efficiently and with minimal effort then building the temple will be easily accomplished.. When the time is right it will be rebuilt.. Everything is ready all that is needed is the will to do it…

The actual building of the Temple is NOT the issue. That's the least of the problems as I have outlined.

It's the site issues, internal issues, and external issues that are the real problems with building the Temple.
