With the caveat that mistakes and malicious prosecutions do, indeed, happen, it is time to dramatically reduce appeal times.

If that means the court system devising and implementing greatly accelerated appeals processes, then so be it.

But people who kill others in the course of committing a crime deserve death, not a second shot at life at taxpayer expense.

The Bill of Rights demands the judge have absolute power when it comes to applying mitigating circumstances.
