How to Quickly Peel a Boiled Egg in a Glass of Water - YouTube

Love this!

Came from The HuffPost Fifty blog. And has links to many, many more @
I wonder if it works like that every time. Usually I break mine open with a knife and just peel it. The problem I have is not usually with the shell itself but the thin membrane underneath. That stuff is a pain in the butt! I wonder if that gets rid of the membrane too?
I bought a special gizmo that hard boils 7 eggs on an automatic setting. Once cooked and cooled off, they're a cinch to peel.

Never tried this but will next time I hard boil eggs.

I'll try it too, but I rarely hard boil eggs. I prefer my eggs over easy. I like a runny yolk for dipping my toast. But I will try it and report back when I do.
