I think I came up with a way to make baseball interesting...I am not a fan of the game......but Derek Hunter was talking about the All Star game on his radio show today, and his guest said they liked the pitch clock.

It occurred to me .....

Change the rules like this.....each batter gets a total of 3 pitches...

Pitcher throws 2 balls the batter gets 1st

Pitcher throws two strikes without a swing....batter is out.

Batter hits two foul balls, he is out.

You still have the pitch clock...

The game moves much faster, the action is more intense.....and more interesting........

I think it would be much more interesting to place certain types of people on the field somewhere between the pitcher and batter......if the pitcher doesn't hit em, then the batter does.

I originally thought that too, but I like it. It is exactly what they do in tennis on close line calls and that has worked well for years.
