How to get through this period of high gas prices.

We had high gas prices for a brief time.

We did not start a war.

Trump owns high gas prices. You can make your contribution at the gas pump.
Of course you are going to defend the guy who thought he had just talked to someone who had been dead for years.
Do not really care for Trump but I realize that he at least knows if someone is dead.
Gas prices fluctuate. No place is safe except in California where they think taxing people to death will fix their crazy ideas.

Businesses do better when people stay home anyway.

I dont mind paying more. I put on maybe 1000 miles per year on my truck. Im trading in this one with 9000 miles for a new one. I do deel bad for those of you still having to work your cruddy jobs and travel expenses. Its surely no "dream:.

It's not that bad. I actually enjoy working after sitting around the house for 20+ years, and my job is only 12 miles away. I was spending far more on gas and making less when I was selling shit on Ebay. Having to drive all over the countryside looking for garage sales and estates sales on Fridays and Saturdays wasn't worth the time, money, and effort anymore. The expenses, fees, and taxes were eating up all the profits. Now I just show up on schedule, do my job, and collect a pay check.

I suppose if work somehow twistedly gives one satisfaction. In my 42 years of showing up day after day, i never found an ounce of satisfaction in my work but the pay was too good and towards the last 5 years or so the adversarial relationship i had with my upper admins did make me feel better about it.

That's because you were probably an asshole to work with, as people on this forum have gotten to know your toxic personality.

I like that crazy idea. I am sure there are a few that would be better off without some of the so called employees
Not my job to see businesses succeed. I rrmember the covid times when business owners cried they couldnt find workers. What a load of garbage that was.

Walk.
Take the bus.'
Ride a bike.
Carpool.
Combine trips.
Stay home.
Buy a horse.
Drive slower, coast more.
Buy only as much gas as you need.
Surf behind a bus.
Kill yourself (eliminate your entire carbon footprint).

You're welcome. :)

Obama: Properly inflate your tires

Trump: Short term pain for long term gain (But who gains?)

I remember when Trump blamed his election loss on voting machines allegedly controlled by Hugo Chavez, who had been dead for 12 years.

Gas prices fluctuate from time to time.

This time the run up is totally down to Donald J Trump.

Try that again in English or hire a child to type it for you!

And that right there is why I never became a teacher. I was a music major in college, before I realized the only future a degree in music would be as a music teacher. I can't imagine how life would have been, had I chose to endure other people's musical gibberish the rest of my life. It might have driven me insane.

So I dropped out college and went to trade school to become a brick mason. Of course, I did later go back to school for an Associates' Degree and became an electronics tech, but that's another story.
