Just put enough gas in the tank for what you need until the price drops.

Our two cars get 38 and 40 mpg so the little bump in gas prices aren't a problem. Plus there's the fact that I have a real job, so it's just a necessary expense.

My newest car is 2 years old and has a little over 8,000 miles on it, including 4 trips 100 miles away. I have more miles on my electric bike than the car. Like woodnutz said, people can get off their fat asses and get around by other means, and go shopping less; no need to just keep mindlessly buying Chinese crap.

You are right. Unfortunately, we did not sign on when we voted in the 2024 election for this. I hope this is handled well, as the midterms will be an apocalypse if they do not.

We don't have 340 million separate govts and constitutions to custom fit the personal whims of every whiner in the country. Whether or not anybody 'signs up' for something other doesn't mean squat. Spoiled brats and foreigners sniveling means even less. Letting these terrorists run loose for decades brought about the problem, now is the time to finish them off. Anybody wants to complain and cry, let them dig up Carter and Reagan and kick their corpses around if they think it will make them feel better.

Democrats want to kill America, then it's up to everybody else to not let them. If they fail to stop them, then the country needs to die; it's a self-inflicted suicide pact, and the rest of the world will indulge in a feeding frenzy on our corpse. Small satisfaction in watching the scum that vote Democrat get eaten by their 'heroes' in the aftermath, but at least there will be a little. The survivors will be sold to the middle class Chinese Cadre as house pets for their kids.

The GOP and right wingers stood by doing nothing for decades while they let a horde of vermin take over the education system, so they are as much to blame as anybody else for where we have ended up these days. I dont mind paying more. I put on maybe 1000 miles per year on my truck. Im trading in this one with 9000 miles for a new one. I do deel bad for those of you still having to work your cruddy jobs and travel expenses. Its surely no "dream:.
