And doing anything to win.... surely what the Republicans did by denying Obama a Supreme Court justice, impeaching Clinton for having it off with some aid.... they sound very much like the sort of thing you're opposed to..... only if the Dems did the same thing to the Reps, rather than the other way around.

I don't use this to make a direct comparison, it's not meant to disrespect the brave men who went into war.

However, as a positive sign of American success or defiance, this is the only image that comes to mind for myself. Pretty haughty comparison. They went after Clinton for the Whitewater scandal. But they couldn't get him for that.

So they found something else.

The irony is it was a Independent Counsel that went after him, something a Trump judge just said is unconstitutional (we all know she's just doing it to stall for time)...
