How Religious Freedom Became A Rightwing Assault On The Rule Of Law

Not accepting them and disliking them is one thing. They do have that right. But do not pretend that some activly work to deny them rights. That is what I am talking about
What rights? Insisting they are hired? Insisting on public displays? Those are not rights.
 
Bullshit! It depends mostly on the state and most states do not provide protection for gays in employment, or housinng, public accomodation, or financial transactions.
Your sexual habits shouldn't be anyone's business.
 
So then they should not use birth control or engage in homosexuality. But they should also leave others alone. Christians have made both legal issues
1. Birth control (preventing pregnancy) is private and legal, even if discouraged by the Church.
2. The morning after pill is private and legal in most states.
3. Abortions are private and legal in many states, and other states put restrictions on to protect the baby.
4. LGBTQ legal issues have been resolved as far as I know. What issues remain?
 
Our declaration of Independence declares our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

One cannot have a reasonable conversation with those who are forcefully opposed to these concepts and think it is THEIR right to terminate any possibility of such for others.
