Ummm so,.. is the reason that this banana sold for so much money because of the comedy and irony? Or have people just lost their minds?

How Much Money Would You Spend For A Banana?

Me? About 30¢ The fact that some jackass literally paid over 6 million dollars for a piece of perishable fruit just goes to show that the world is fundamentally INSANE. This is the world that the left and Rob Reiner live in, which is why they hate and fear Trump so much for he and his supporters actually live in the world of reality.

And the Left HATE to be brought down to reality.

I would pay six million for the Mona Lisa from the Louvre. The protective casing and all. And not on a banana that rots after a few days.

New artwork, list price 10 million. Far more filling.

Anybody who would pay more than maybe a couple of bucks to have fun with that as a gag would have to be a person devoid of any common sense and oblivious to the value of money and/or concern for his/her fellow humans. But such people exist.

Back in my insurance adjusting days, I had appraised a very slightly damaged enormous.--like 5' x 6' canvas--painted a pale yellow with one tiny black square in the corner. Described as a 'minimalist' painting by the appraiser. Honestly any kindergartener could have easily duplicated it with no effort whatsoever. But based on the reputation of the artist who painted it, it appraised for $1,800 dollars. I think the insurance company probably settled for something less than that but not a lot less.

It's positively insane.

Hotdog!!! Mmm!!! 🤤 Now you're talking!! 😋 (I still wouldn't pay over twenty bucks for it though. Not like a hotdog would be that much but still, that's the highest I'm going.)
