How many of you wake up at 3 or 4 in the morning seemingly every night?

Maybe you're waking up because your bladder needs attention?
No. I just wake up,.feel.sometimes wifh a light pain other times more profound pain behind my eye. I wonder if sometimes.the pain behind the eye was.worse and it became strong enough a sensation that I awoke.and by the time. I wake it has now subsided a bit. The weird ones are the random.tingling in different parts of the body. Everywhere, feet, shoulder, arms legs. It doesnt last too long but it is unlike anyrhing else Ive experienced

Worse, how many of you don't get proper answers as to why.because your entire system is deficient or corrupt? Welcome to G-dless Ontario.
I have short sleeper syndrome (SSS). If I go to bed at 11 PM I will likely be refreshed, energized and wide awake by 3 or 4 AM. Ready to start new day.

SSS is a rare condition and I view it as a blessing. My 10 year old seems to have SSS too. And my eldest child who is 39 now has SSS. So I'm wondering if there is a genetic component.

It's theorized that short sleeper brains just sleep more efficiently, so we need less sleep.

And we are in good company. Some well known short sleepers include Benjamin Franklin, Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison and Donald Trump.

My sleep patterns have been AFU ever since the pandemic. I go to bed anywhere between 7-9 PM and invariably wake up between 2-3 AM.

I get these multiple wake ups and then I wake up very tired. It seems to last e day, I dont get full energy

For me it's 9-4. But I might catch a nap on lazy, do-nothing days. Waking up at 4 saves wear and tear on the alarm clock.

As long as you dint wake up with pain behind an eye, numbness or random tingling aeound the body. MS seems to be my biggest fear but the anxiety that this process all adds makes it worse.

What do you want them to tell you?

Just make something up?

I almost never sleep though the night, waking up a few times every night.

I am up by 5 (plus or minus 30 minutes) every single day, matters not what time I go to bed.

It has actually never occurred to me to go to the doctor to find out why.

You should get checked for sleep apnea. Are you obese?

No, Im not obese.

Years ago I may have had apnea because I snored. I was overweight at that time though not obese. I don't snore anymore after I lost plenty of weight.

Have you made changes to your diet recently, like in that past week or so? If you are eating a standard western diet based on American dietary guidelines, its a wonder you are alive, let alone sleeping.

Also, check your stress levels.

I am worried about my long term survival chances. I was worried the moment I received an MRI with a contrast solution when I didnt have one done.

The changes I have made have been positive though they haven't moved the needle too much. I cut out sugar and meat primarily.

How do you recieve an MRI if you didn't have one done?

Dropping the sugar was wise, but not the meat.

Eat quality fats -- fats from animal sources and avoid all seed oil fats -- and proteins.

You'll find that any mental fog you have will clear up and you'll be more focused. You're dreams will get more vivid, however. So be aware of that.

For men over 45 or so, that's usually the reason.
I know, more often than not, if I wake up in the middle of the night, its My bladder. My aging prostate has begun giving Me issues as well.

I had the checks and tests and My prostate is cancer free, but I find I have to pause a bit longer to ensure it all drains. LOL
