How many of you wake up at 3 or 4 in the morning seemingly every night?

I know, more often than not, if I wake up in the middle of the night, its My bladder. My aging prostate has begun giving Me issues as well.

I had the checks and tests and My prostate is cancer free, but I find I have to pause a bit longer to ensure it all drains. LOL

That was quite graphic.

How do you recieve an MRI if you didn't have one done?

Dropping the sugar was wise, but not the meat.

Eat quality fats -- fats from animal sources and avoid all seed oil fats -- and proteins.

You'll find that any mental fog you have will clear up and you'll be more focused. You're dreams will get more vivid, however. So be aware of that.

I was given the results for an MRI that didnt match the procedure I went through.

No change in diet will alter the pain behind my eye, the random tingling and the numbness in the face and left side.

Ah, okay. That is weird.

Indeed.

You know what is even weirder? Trying to force me to sign a waiver before letting me see my results and in this waiver it advised that I would forfeit my right to take legal action for any of their actions, misrepresentations and the like.

They then have a manager contact me some time later as I refused to sign such a waiver to explain to me that he was advised it was a manual misclick by the technician and in fact, I did not have contrast and they corrected this.

Now my trust in the system is completely gone. When you've gone through what I have for so long you would understand. Canada is a quasi Police State, especially in Toronto, Ontario and I KNOW that your important intelligence agencies and politicians know this. They have to at this point.

I have little doubt that there have already been and will continue to be economic consequences to Ontario for the system we have embraced. CSIS had better do their job because our allies are turning their backs on us with good reason.

Worse, how many of you don't get proper answers as to why.because your entire system is deficient or corrupt? Welcome to G-dless Ontario.
Most likely your ancestors were farmers. Farmers use to basically sleep twice a day. Back in the days of no AC and hard labor people would get up at that time to do work when it was cool. Also back in the day many lived in single room homes. Mom and dad would go out in the barn to make babies at that time. It is literally in your genes.

There may be a tumor the size of an orange behind your eye

I went to an optometrist. Another guy who lacked communication skills in doing his job but I didn't receive any information about a tumor.

I take it that you Canadians still can't sue your government or your healthcare providers, which is the same thing, right?

It is the same thing yes. You can imagine the chances of success, right?

People are literally dying on the floor of the E.R after waiting 18 hours.

Amazing that these conditions exist in what was once a free and open society.

The question is, "was Ontario ever truly free and open or were we just a watered down version of the old British monarchy which America fought to leave"?

As I said, you Americans do NOT appreciate how much more free you are than other nations. Whomever wins, they better maintain and expand this freedom. This reputation was what allowed America to gain so much respect to go with your economic might.

I always refer to it in economic terms, "Goodwill". Corporations add billions to their value with this arbitrary value-add and America had it in spades in the 1980s.

Thanks for starting this helpful thread.
I'm sorry that you are having trouble sleeping but you're obviously not alone.

Is the pain behind your eye just when you lie down or do you notice it when standing or sitting?

Anyway, I have no trouble going to sleep at 10PM - 11PM but for the last year or so I've been waking up from chronic pain at around 1:30 AM - 2AM and simply cannot go back to sleep.

Sometimes I wake up from combat related nightmares that usually include night sweats, yelling in my sleep and the same scenes and smells of over 50 years ago.

Lately, the nightmares have been less frequent but the chronic pain has become worse.
I'm scheduled for a sleep study to check for sleep apnea next month but, overall, I have far more blessings than misfortunes.

I'm sorry that you're not happy with Canada's Health system but have heard that some Canadians like it.
If you consider your condition to be serious enough, have you considered seeing a specialist in another country?

I use our V.A. Hospital (for military Veterans) and even though there are long wait times for appointments, the staff members, care and resources are excellent.

While I know that going to another country for good medical care is expensive , I think that your quality of life is worth the sacrifice.

Good luck,

Good luck,

The pain behind the eye is worse when I do any physical activity. I cannot even do push ups anymore. It does sometimes seem prominent when I lay down to sleep but only for a period of time. I am sometimes woken up with the pain.

Yeah, if I sell my home I will be trying a Texas clinic or one of the southern states.

That;s another issue though. I just know I need this pain gone.

Yes. I routinely wake up after three to four hours of sleep. I've done it for years. I'll usually go pee and then go back to sleep.

In colonial times, people would deliberately wake up in the middle of the night to pray and then go back to sleep.

Have you tried checking your blood pressure & pulse when in pain and comparing it to your B.P. and pulse when not in pain.
Also, are you taking any blood thinners or blood pressure medications?

I can understand if you don't want to reveal personal medical information but those may be factors in my humble unprofessional opinion.

From what you have described, I think that it would be wise to have your condition professionally examined soon in spite of the cost.

Good luck and keep me posted.

Thanks,
