We know the investigation into Russia and trump has gone on for almost a year. As of this day we have on the record testimony that there is no evidence of collusion between trump and Russia. How long do we continue this investigation when there is no evidence? If you are for more investigations, at what point would you be satisfied that no evidence exists? If there is no evidence in six months? In a year? 4?
As soon as the FBI or DOJ announces that the evidence that they are investigating has yielded proof or no proof of criminal actions. Of course there is evidence, what do you think they have been investigating for a year? There wouldn't be an investigation if there wasn't evidence. What hasn't been shown is proof that the evidence shows criminal activity or not.
Do you really think that with all the leaks that have occurred that if there was ANY damaging evidence against Trump that we wouldn't know about it by now? The only reason why the investigation is still ongoing is for political purposes and that's it.
Actually, Trump appointees have had meetings with Putin and chief Russian spy, the Russian ambassador in Washington. They lied about their contacts. One got fired and the other was made Attorney General. The ongoing investigation is described by the acting Director of the FBI as highly significant.
Well of course they met, not only with the Russians but every other major foreign gov't representatives, that's what you do when you're trying to be the next president. The rest of the world wants to get to know what your approach is going to be with respect to foreign policy, and especially in regard to their specific country. But none of that means there ws any collusion going on.
