What would the gain be if we kicked them out of NYC? I remember even John McCain said, back in 2008, we should get rid of the UN and form a new world organization where Russia and China wouldn't have veto power.

I imagine the disadvantaged nations really do care about famine, war lords, etc... The Ambassador from Luxembourg (just to pick one that may or may not even exist)....probably not as much.

Also, you’d see a marked decline in people wanting the posts if the HQ was in Tanzania instead of near Tribeca.
