Newt was part of the Reagan GOP which is a catastrophe give away to the rich and screw job for everyone else. And reflects that Reagan was a corporate spokesman. And did away with the fairness doctrine so people have become addicted and obsessed to pure garbage from rush and fox and Internet nutters. Poor America. Newt just went along with it big time...

Trump is not the problem. Candidates like DeSantis pose a even greater threat because he is smoother than Trump. The problem is that the Republican Party has been taken over by right wing Nazis. They are anti-free speech, hate anyone who is not a white male, hate minorities, believe women should be subservient to men, and want to impose their religious fascism on us at the point of a gun. They want to go after our voting rights because they appeal only to a minority of voters. These Nazis will be attempting to take over our country in 2024. Our democracy is still in danger from Republicans.
