How Elon Musk cut costs at SpaceX, Tesla, X and what it means for DOGE

The thing is, Musk will cut anything which doesn't serve him or competes with him, and expand anything which helps him personally.

He's already received billions in government subsidies. I wonder how he stands the stench of his own hypocrisy.

I think the majority of these so-called "subsidies" are 1) tax credits for purchases of EVs which Biden restored with the Inflation Reduction Act and 2) contracts awarded to SpaceX from NASA, aren't they?

Musk has called for an end to EV subsidies, and the SpaceX contracts are arguably money which is spent more efficiently than funding NASA bloat and waste.
