When you look at Obama's elections, you will see that the majority of whites voted against him both times. Had it been left up to whites, McCain would have won in 2008, and Romney in 2012.

In 2012 he got 51.1% of 58.6% which is 29.9%.

So, Obama didn't even get 1/3rd of the votes of those eligible to vote.
