How About a Family Pride Day?

Would that include the black families ripped apart during slavery or the Indian children that were forcibly removed from their families and made to attend boarding schools where they were beaten for the slightest infraction?
Where is that going on? We need to stop it, right now! Somebody google modern slavery to see where it's happening and who's doing it.

In Rome Italy this week there was a huge massively attended "Family Pride Day" to celebrate traditional moms, dads and kids.

I'll admit this warmed by heart. We need this here.

I just wonder what the reaction would be from the left here in the USA if Americans staged such an event? Would the talking heads on television even mention it? Or would they condemn it? Would the Squad protest such an event as anti-LGBTX? Or pretend it didn't happen? Would the media even cover it? (Pro choice/women's rights/women's march demonstrations get much news coverage for example, but a huge pro life demonstration got almost none. See Here's why the media ignore the March for Life but fawn over the Women's March )

Would DC even issue a permit to have it?

Family Day in the US is Sept,26.

Family Day USA

It would immediately be branded racist. And I'm not kidding...

To the left that is like saying, All Lives Matter. I know of a few who were banned from socialist media for daring to say ALM.

You could definitely be right.
did u see what they did to that pro life guy outside the Planned Barrenhood abortuary?

What a lovely person he is... giving out rosaries to the victims leaving there and the soon-to-be victims entering

Jesus said we are blessed when we are treated like this for his sake...

blessed... surely does not always seem like it :(

We already have two holidays like that.
Thanksgiving and Christmas
Not the same thing at all. Both acknowledge different aspects of our Christian history and heritage Americans have recognized and respected since we became a country.
It would immediately be branded racist. And I'm not kidding...
I know you aren't kidding. That would probably one of the milder labels put on it. :)

I love the idea. If "gays" can celebrate putting their thingy in another man's bum-bum ... the rest of us can celebrate helping to bring future generations into this world and taking the responsibility to raise them right. I'm kinda thinking that the latter is a bit more important than the former.

If you mean Houck, I believe those charges were dropped. But for sure anybody protesting at a pro life facilities will be 'exercising their constitutional rights' but anybody protesting at an abortion clinic is usually accused of some crime.

The dichotomy is almost always that the LGBTX activities are never portrayed as anti-traditional family but any activity celebrating the mom dad and kids tradition will almost always be portrayed as 'phobic' or anti-gay or insulting to gays or something equally as ridiculous.

Yup. When the gays are running Hollyweird and the Fake Stream Media, they get to create the narrative, no matter how ludicrous it sounds.

So LGBTX get a month and families get one day? And even on that one day we are expected to recognize ALL kinds of families and not the traditional, mom dad and kids family. I rest my case.
You can do whatever you want. Have a family month for all anyone cares. It’s not like any of these “months” have any official status or anyone’s getting any days off because of it.

Such a radical idea!

The problem is a culture that crams special groups down our throats and demands that we respect, appreciate, accommodate them in any way they want while at the same time downplaying and diminishing the traditional American family, even legislating policy that discourages it.

You can always point to the anecdotal exceptions, but it isn't even debatable any more that children of all socioeconomic status and demographics do better overall with a responsible mother and father in the home. Kids with that advantage generally have fewer health problems, behavior problems, are less likely to live in poverty, do better in school and are better equipped to be responsible and productive adults in life.

We used to have elected leaders who understood that, appreciated it, and promoted the traditional family. Now the traditional family is more often treated as an afterthought if not dismissed as important altogether.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are holidays. No LGBTQ+ holidays.
The central focus of both holidays is supposed to be the family. Family gatherings. Family dinners...
So how is it "not the same thing at all?"
