Houston Grand Jury Clears Police Officer in Shooting of Unarmed Black Man

"Harris County grand juries have cleared HPD officers of criminal wrongdoing in all shootings since 2008. More than a quarter of the 121 civilians shot by the department's officials from 2008 to 2012 were - like Baker - unarmed, according to a Houston Chronicle analysis."

That is wonderful news to hear that these cops were cleared and can go home and be with their families each night.

Houston Grand Jury Clears Police Officer in Shooting of Unarmed Black Man
A Houston grand jury decided on Tuesday not to indict a police officer who shot and killed an unarmed black man in January. Officer Juventino Castro, a 10-year veteran of the force, was working as an off-duty security guard at a Houston strip mall that had recently experienced a string of robberies when he shot and killed 26-year-old Jordan Baker after a brief confrontation in the mall parking lot.
Castro was in uniform when he confronted Baker, thinking he was a potential burglar.
Unlike you, the GJ heard all the evidence in this case.
Thus, their opinion was based on the information, yours is based in ignorance..

and when they are confronted by police they react violently to situations that do not require it
Eric Garner didn't react violently.

Tamir Rice didn't react violently.

John Crawford III didn't react violently.

Levar Jones didn't react violently.

Did they comply with a lawful order submit to arrest?
Crawford was shot in Walmart and never saw it coming. Never had a chance to surrender his toy.

Rice was shot as soon as the cop jumped from the vehicle. Never had a chance to surrender his toy.

Levar Jones WAS complying with the officer's demand for his licence and registration. And the cop shot him as he was complying.

Eric Garner didn't get a chance either. That cop was around his neck before he had a chance to submit.

On top of that, the cop was wrong for trying to arrest him, as NYPD has admitted. Selling loose cigarettes is not an arresting violation. It's a ticketed infraction. That's according to his bosses.

So you struck out on all 4.

John Crawford....had a gun.....turned out to be a pellet gun....but when approaching a suspect with a gun do you take a chance that it isn't a real gun.....? I guess you would be able to tell....right?
I will explain one more time to you, dumbass:

The pellet gun was sold in the Walmart - it was one of his purchases.

Ohio is an open carry state.

Now say more stupid shit. You're on a roll.

Unlike some of their victims.

"HPD Chief Charles A. McClelland Jr. released the following statement in regards to the grand jury's decision:

"'We respect the grand jury's decision in this case. This is certainly a tragic and unfortunate incident for the officer involved and the family of Jordan Baker. We will continue to evaluate our policies and training in an attempt to prevent these types of incidents in the future. We are in the process of developing a new foot pursuit policy designed to protect officers and the citizens they encounter.

"We place the highest priority on human life and we encourage anyone that has interactions with police to follow and obey the commands and instructions of officers. There is always a proper place and time to contest your arrest or file a police complaint. I have forwarded this investigation to the local office of the FBI for its review to ensure there are no civil rights violations.'"
