Oh! The gnashing of teeth from progressives is sure to follow.

367 House members warn Obama on Iran | TheHill

A letter to President Obama signed by 367 members of Congress warns that lawmakers must be satisfied that any Iranian nuclear agreement must "foreclose any pathway to a bomb" before they lift sanctions against Tehran.

The letter, which was drafted in early March but released on Monday, warns Obama that "permanent sanctions relief from congressionally-mandated sanctions would require new legislation" from Congress.

"Congress must be convinced that its terms foreclose any pathway to a bomb, and only then will Congress be able to consider permanent sanctions relief," reads the letter, led by Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-Calif.) and ranking member Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.).

Obama got on TV and directly appealed to the people of a terrorist nation because Bibi shamed him again.

Letter is no biggie compared to that.

Not even close.
Agreed, trying to actually prevent another war in the middle east is a noble quest that must be attempted, the fatalistic warhawks that treat an Iranian war as an inevitability need to STFU for a while and see how this pans out before they freak out. At this point it seems to me they are mostly angry at the thought that they might not get to destroy Iran and fight another glorious patriotic war. Also this letter might as well be a stern reminder that the sun will rise in the east tomorrow morning.

Au contraire! The Cotton letter was an open letter, never sent to Iran. It was posted on Senator Cotton's website, and his social media.

Yeah that's why it was addressed to "The Leaders of the Islamic Republic Of Iran."

It was an open letter. It was posted on Senator Cotton's website, social media. No letter was sent to Iran. Is that so hard to understand? It was addressed to Iran solely because it was an open letter to them. You think they sent it FedEx? :lmao:

Give us the statutory definition of treason.

Yeah, I thought so.

If I were Iran I would want a bomb
Yes, they get threatened with attack and invasion every other day and have been fucked over by the western world time and again and these warhawks have the gall to say that they are unreasonably paranoid and hostile.
