We are required to sell all our oil on the open market. It's part of the deal that created the petrodollar. No one wants to actually fuck with that house of cards. If you don't know what this means maybe you can find a more patient person to explain it to you.

How much of a problem is this really? China doesn't get that much oil, only around 7 percent of our exports. Mexico (the place conservatives love to bitch about), and Canada get more of our oil than China does.
