If you are in the military and think you just know what an illegal order is and choose to defy it, you better be 100% correct.

The fact is there are very few circumstances where an illegal order is obvious.

Idiots with little to no training or experience are unable to identify those situations. An order isn’t illegal just because you disagree with it.

Why it is almost impossible for an individual soldier to defy an order.

However, if the Supreme Court says occupying cities is illegal or sinking boats off of Venezuela is illegal and Trump orders you to do it anyway……then you can defy the order
