House Intelligence Committee Republicans were surprised to learn this week that a member of their panel, Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell, was targeted by a suspected Chinese spy who slept with US politicians as a tactic to elicit information.
Swalwell, who represents a California district south of Oakland, received an FBI “defensive briefing” in 2015 on operative Fang Fang, but most if not all Republicans on the elite committee weren’t told that a colleague had been targeted by China.
Fang, also known as Christine Fang, returned to China in mid-2015 as US officials heightened their scrutiny of her string of honey-trap seductions. She reportedly fundraised for Swalwell’s 2014 re-election campaign before he joined the Intelligence Committee in 2015.
A congressional Republican source told The Post that Intelligence Committee Republicans had not been informed of the relationship.

But Hammill told The Post that Swalwell is still expected to retain his position on the committee when the next session of Congress begins in January.
“Minority Leader McCarthy is trying to distract from his continued kowtowing to QAnon and his refusal to heed the call of the Anti-Defamation League to refuse to seat his QAnon members on congressional committees, including critical national security committees,” Hammill claimed.
“The speaker has full confidence in Congressman Swalwell’s service in the Congress and on the Intelligence Committee,” Hammill added.

Eric Swalwell was compomised before he became a Congressman and it cost his first marriage.
It's not the first time that a Democrat Party Congressman was compromised and used to maintain power. Senator Ted Kennedy comes to mind... Then there's the president elect China Joe Biden and his son's involvement in both the Burisima deal and China deals. The Dems and Biden in particular are going to make us a satrapy of communist China.
"McCarthy noted: “ Remember Swalwell has accused the president of everything that he, Smallwell, did, even lying
to the American public and sitting on the Intel Committee,” McCarthy said. “Not only should he be removed from Intel, he should be removed from Congress as well.”
McCarthy pointed out:

<> And this: Smallwell was selected for Intel by party leaders...meaning Nancy Pelosi.

<> “Why did the Democrats pull out of the bipartisan China Task Force I had set up?”.
<> “Why did Speaker Pelosi ditch Senate bills that would hold China accountable?
<> Why do [the Chinese] invariable focus on Silicon Valley members of Congress?
<> What did Intel Chair Adam Schiff know WRT the Chinese spy and Swalwell?
In this case, Eric Swalwell was and has been a 'Willing Accomplice' who treated 'National Security with Reckless Disregard' and was more than happy to oblige her to get in Fang's pants and then collect the Cash. He is not nor was a victim but a willing accomplice and approved by both Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi.
