Hopefully the dems will have learned from 2016, and address the needs of those the recession destroyed

Its early yet. Most people won't decide until after the debates.
Please remember that Hillary had a 95% probability of winning in 2016.
Biden has a progressive problem. He needs to promise and defend:
free college
the Green New Deal
stopping fracking and pipelines
Obamacare II
higher taxes

I also want to see how he responds to tough questions:
Tara Reade finger pokey
Burisma cash cow for Hunter
Chinese case for Hunter

No comey, and China's deeper in trump's pocket than Biden is in China's.

I think the election will turn on how well Trump has handled the economy, and how white suburbia feels about the protests

You ain't going to do shit for nobody. You are going to increase taxes on the lower classes again. You are going to promote your pie in the sky dreams that will make us even weaker and poorer while slashing the defense budget.

Agree about the "defund the police" democrat policy, that won't play well in suburbia.
Show me how Trump is taking cash from China like the Bidens. Trump is imposing tariffs on China.

Unless Fox News gets a debate you'll never get those questions asked of him.

LOL!! Very True, even if FXN gets a debate, Chris Wallace won't ask Biden any tough questions. FXN is "fair & balanced" with a lot of democrat talking heads. Baer might ask a few, but not like Hannity or Ingram or Tucker would ask.

We also need Barr & Durham to get busy with indictments so that voters see what the Obama admin did with Operation Crossfire Hurricane. Biden can answer those questions too.

This is not 2016. There was no incumbent President in 2016, and neither of the candidates had a record to run on. Joe Biden is not Hillary Clinton. The election will be a referendum on the success or failure of the Trump Administration's first term - no more, no less.

Joe Biden has no questions to answers. None. Tara Reade has dropped her all of her claims. The woman who couldn't find a reputable journalist to publish her story, couldn't find a witness to back up her story, and whose lawyer dropped her case like a hot potato, has not been heard from since. Hunter Biden isn't under investigation and has done nothing illegal.

Joe Biden has a 40 year record for honesty and integrity in politics. Donald Trump has a life-long history of graft, corruption, bribery and fraud, bankruptcy, and shady business practices.

On Saturday, Trump is holding a first first mass gathering in the world, since the pandemic started, in the covid19 hot spot in the nation. The Oklahoma Supreme Court denied a request to enforce public safety precautions for the event. The President views safety precautions as a personal insult to him. Even as the USA passed 125,000 deaths from the virus. More than 1/4 of all of the deaths in the world in this pandemic.

Trump has made a conscious decision to allow the virus to run free throughout the population. The costs to both the people, and to the economy will only get much, much worse. Good luck with that.

1. Biden carries the Obama admin guilt for Crossfire Hurricane, the illegal spying on the Trump campaign. Don't be surprised if Barr & Durham start issuing indictments any day now. At least on the small fish. If Biden wasn't in the "loop" it was because he was incompetent. That will be the biggest scandal in US history.

2. True the 2020 election will be a referendum on Trump's 1st term. Including the Mueller Investigation, the bogus impeachment, the Russia Collusion hoax, and the MSM's 95% negative "fake news" on Trump. If the economy recovers, Trump wins, if not he loses, that's what history tells us.

3. US adults can make their own decision on the Trump rally, the same way that protesters and rioters made theirs.

4. US adults made the decision to return to work. You can whine about the 119,000 US deaths, but many of them were because stupid Cuomo sent covid patients back to nursing homes?! Duh. Other than those, the covid deaths are about what the annual flu deaths are. Mostly affecting the aged with comorbidity. Trump did what he could to stop the virus, now its time to get back to work. Look at Sweden, doing fine with no shutdown.

I noticed Trump's polls among rural voters have taken a hit (he's still in positive territory), but Trump won Wisc, Mich and PA (to a lesser extent) because the dems ignored them while touting the stockmarket and jobs created
This is what happens when we don't operate capitalism properly: Massive inequities and the rise in interest in socialism.

The Trumpsters have been talked into believing that proper regulation is the bane of capitalism, when in fact it's a critical component of it.

But that notion requires a wee bit too much intellectual elasticity.

You destroyed millions of people with the housing collapse over a decade ago. People have not forgotten.

Holy crap. The talk radio "The Meltdown was all the Democrats' fault" schtick.

No mention of CMO's, CDO's, swaps, synthetics, the ratings agencies, the banks shorting shit securities they were selling, Greenspan admitting he blew it, any of it.

Okay, sure. Winger ignorance is bliss.
