Well from 2020-2024 you couldn't say that due to rampant inflation obscuring the actual rise or fall of costs related to availability.
Of course you could have said it. Rent was down 0.2% in December 2024.

Based on the Zillow rent index.

Is Dec 2024 not part of 2020-2024?
Marty decides what dates are relevant.

2020 thru 2024 matters because Biden was president.

October and November 2025 matter because rent went down when Trump is president.

January thru September don’t exist anymore because Marty doesn’t want to think about it.

It was not at 48 year highs when he took office.
The remaining cycle was alive and well. That you can't admit that is predictable, no name.

The inflation cycle refers to the recurring periods of rising and falling inflation rates within an economy, influenced by supply and demand dynamics. Understanding this cycle is important for policymakers and consumers as it affects economic growth, purchasing power, and overall market stability. AI

Did you ever complain or even notice when inflation was 9.1% under Biden? Cumulative under Old Autopen was 21%. Did you notice? Highest in 48 years, according to Trump, and you refuse to admit that's correct.

The inflation number may have been down, but the cycle was alive and well. As is usual for Trump he embellished on one thing while making a great point on another.

What do you think the chances are that the people around him are feeding him bad information?

While he obviously could be lying, he's also imcompetent. Maybe he really doesn't know, and doesn't know how to find out.
Wow, biden! Do we have a mirror image here?

Essential industry like oil and infrastructure, yes i would be ok with it because the American people would benefit, it aint Rocket Science.

This is pathetic.

Your link has manufacturing productivity.

Manufacturing employment is down. By about 50k jobs just this year.

There is no Q3 GDP report. That will come out in about a week.

GDP growth so far this year is less than it was last year. Don’t forget that Q1 was a contraction so you’re fighting an uphill battle.

Wage growth for 2024 was 3.9%, so better than Trump’s 3.5%.

Honestly, we’d probably have been much better off if Trump had just done nothing.
Honestly Biden lied to you all the time. You've been fooled

I sensed it was just seeking to toot his own horn in a desperate bid to revive his flagging polling numbers. His MAGA base surely just ate it up, but I doubt it really swayed anyone else.
Just bolstered the fact that he is a Bold Face Liar.

15th post
I calculated the GDP growth in the FIRST TWO QUARTERS.

That means Q1 AND Q2. Q1 was a contraction.

Oh, and when you say GDP was 3.5%, that’s an annualized rate. When I say GDP grew by 0.7%, I used real GDP and didn’t annualized but used the total growth over 2 quarters.

You aren’t dumb, your brain is just heavily distorted by politics. I try to be nice to people like you but you make it very difficult.

At the end of the day, the people don’t think the economy is doing well. Maybe that has a lot to do with the expectations Trump set, but might have even more to do with the labor market. Either way, the people don’t like what they see. Your hopes and dreams are not substitutions for actual results.
At the end of the day people are glad that the auto pin is no longer lying to them.

Integrity is up
trump has no integrity. Does 't seem to know what that is and it is reflected in the way others around the world look at US. We lost our integrity because of him. Some even say we are a laughingstock because of him. The world does look differently at US but not in a good way as you believe it does.

President Donald Trump is set to deliver a live prime-time address from the White House on Wednesday night.

The White House offered few details about what the Republican president intends to emphasize in the 9 p.m. speech. Public polling shows most U.S. adults are frustrated with his handling of the economy as inflation picked up after his tariffs raised prices and hiring slowed.

Trump has said that he thinks more Americans would back him if they simply heard him describe his track record, which administration officials say will reverse the recent decline in manufacturing jobs and dramatically increase tax refunds next year.

The president announced the forthcoming address in a Truth Social post on Tuesday afternoon.

“My Fellow Americans: I will be giving an ADDRESS TO THE NATION tomorrow night, LIVE FROM THE WHITE HOUSE, at 9 P.M. EST,” he said in the post. “I look forward to ‘seeing’ you then. It has been a great year for our Country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”

Not much to add.....Just a heads-up.

LOL.....I'm sure the MSM will be "fact checking" in real time. ;)
I really didn't like his speech last night that was far more Stephen Millerish than Trumpish. And while it did him no harm, I don't think it did any good or produced the effect he wanted.

All of us are aware of his accomplishments because we consult sources not infused with chronic TDS. But the speech didn't really address those kitchen table issues that matter to most Americans. I think he needed to do that. But again, I'm pretty sure Miller wrote that speech and he just isn't wired the same way someone more empathetic is.

Trump should have written his own speech with advice from Susie Wiles.
