Plenty of conservatives don't like them either. Which is why they utterly failed in the bid to put their members on school boards.
With the way the left wing has screwed up the education system in this country over the last 50 years this is not going get fixed overnight. Hopefully they stay with it. Conservatives did not pay much attention until recent years and the leftists are offended by any kind of competition.

Moms for Liberty is an American conservative political organization that advocates against school curricula that mention LGBTQIA+ rights, race and ethnicity, critical race theory, and discrimination.[1][2][3][4]Multiple chapters have also campaigned to ban books that address gender and sexuality from school libraries.[1][5][6] Founded in 2021, the group began by campaigning against COVID-19 protections in schools, including mask and vaccine mandates.[1] Moms for Liberty is influential within the Republican Party.[7]

You want a great education system, focus on math, science and reading for comprehension.

I am a Boomer. I had phys ed, but nothing else he mentioned.

Personal finance would have been helpful. Certainly more helpful than learning Square Dancing.
We had class when I was a Senior in High School (1966) that everybody had to take that covered family finances. I remember the teacher telling us about inflation. He said we all might live to see the day when a pair of shoes would cost $30 and $25K a year would be considered a good middle class family income.

I teach ESL, but I teach a unit to my highest level students about teens and finances. They tend to find it very interesting, and often comment on how they wish someone had taught them such things sooner.

Democrats need vocational education in fast food jobs.
Those were teabaggers.

Of course it isn't going to get fixed, teabaggers don't want to pay for it, just like America's infrastructure.
Hopefully they stay with it. Conservatives did not pay much attention until recent years and the leftists are offended by any kind of competition.
Turning education over to Right Wing Religious Nut Jobs to privatize it is insane,
Of course teabaggers love it.
