Honest Question regarding voting

In that case, they have nothing to worry about.

But if they are maintaining high post COVID prices without justification, they will be challenged
What justification you idiot? It’s capitalism. If you don’t like Whole Foods prices then go to WalMart or Shaws. You have choices. Capitalism works.

These are Democrats. Zero lucidity when it comes to basic economics.

You got me again. :(

The main thing for the partisan mind to grasp is that everyone who disagrees with you is on the "other side". And they're evil. Or insane. Or both.
Oh come on! It was funny.

No - that's not it. They're insane. And evil.

Capitalism is not independent of Government

The Government assures a level playing field

Grocery stores don’t have a monopoly you dolt. Reread my initial post. Competition keeps prices reasonable

Didn’t say they did though with recent mergers they are moving that way

What mergers? Walmart and Target now sell food. Shaw, Stop & Shop, Market Basket, Whole Foods, Walmart, Target all within a mile from me. No chance there is price gouging. You don’t know basic Econ.

We can register in Maine up to and including election day with a provisional ballot.
That's not a good policy. You should know who you're voting for in advance of any election.

Walmart is still price gouging on a lot of things. Things I buy at other stores because they're much cheaper there,
and Target=Walmart + $1 on everything with a French accent.

A policy like that just is too susceptible to fraud.
Not really....the day of, would be a provisional ballot. There is 10 days or so for election officials to vet it, including for citizenship. Maine allows felons to vote, even in prison, so no vetting needed for being a past felon...just verification of age, address, and citizenship.

We only have about 1 million residents in the whole state, (we are the farthest one can be from the Mexican border), and I would imagine the very low population here, makes it feasible and reliable.

A state like Florida has 21 million residents, lots and lots of foreigners, and likely would not be feasible.

Are there truly undecided voters still out there? We are so polarized that I believe minds are made up for this election. Do people believe there are voters who may change their mind? Or is fundraising basically designed to get people to actually vote versus convincing them who to vote for?

Thx
In my opinion there are no undecided voters. You either like Trump or you like Harris.

There's more people in my town than your state. :omg:

LOL - having higher prices than other stores is not "price gouging". Price gouging laws address emergency or a disaster situations where a vendor has a local monopoly and uses it to charge outrageous prices for necessary good. Think charging $30 for bottle water right after a hurricane because you have the only supply in town. That's price gouging. Asking higher than average prices isn't.

Of course liberals can't resist using that as a wedge to expand government power to dictate prices. That's how they roll.

What happened to "Low prices, Always", Hmm? They used to price match the lowest prices, so did Lowe's.
