Trump hasn't even taken the oath of office yet and Democrats will not make things become easier. They'll dig their heels in to stop any advances in stopping crime, closing the border, invasion of illegal aliens, and easing inflation.
All their B.S. about bipartisanship is a lie.
Give it time there is a light at the end of this tunnel...

My local HD has the tools caged off in their own area. One way in and out, and you have to pay for your tools before you go back into the rest of the store.

I don't know. Maybe it keeps people from putting tools in the cart and not scanning them in the self-checkout.

Solve the problem by cutting off a finger each time the shoplifter is caught.

By the time everybody is calling him "lefty"...he'll stop.

All that does is make them victims in the eyes of Democrats and eligible for disability.
Muslims and Arabs have done that for thousands of tears and it hasn;t worked.

They just need to put in those body scanners like at the airport, nobody gets out without being scanned.

Or, allow armed security guards to patrol the stores

Yeah, it is crazy I live in a very safe rural area, I went to Lowes as the closest home improvement store to get some wire, receptacles and boxes etc. to add a couple of outlets to my basement craft area for the girlfriend. The Romex wire was in locked cages, all the power tools also. I had to wait 15 minutes for somebody to show up with the combination now this was early Sunday morning right when they opened, but still.
