Boehner as unpopular as Pelosi

A major milestone occurred in our national polling this week: John Boehner is now just as unpopular as Nancy Pelosi. His net approval is -24 at a 28/52 spread and her net approval is -24 as well at a 31/55 spread. In 2010 Republican House challengers were dying to run against Pelosi and did so with a high level of success. Now it looks like Democratic candidates may similarly be able to get traction by running against Boehner next year.

Pelosi's numbers now are exactly identical to what they were when we did our first poll of the year in January. But Boehner has dropped by an astounding 31 points. He began the year in positive ground with 35% of voters approving of him and 28% disapproving. Over the course of his first seven months as speaker his approval has dropped 7 points while his disapproval has spiked by 24 points.

Synopsis? Big Government as it exists, Politicians...are unpopular with everyone.

And that includes OBAMA.

It's Amazing how you libs had 1 VOTE short of a super Majority but claim that the Fact that you could not come up with compromises good enough to get 1 single Republican Vote, Is somehow all the Republicans fault.

He's polling this low with the media being his constant cheerleaders without a hint of criticism.

Most interesting. Even with his "Pravda" group of devotees whether it be press or television he can't get his numbers up.

Rasmussen has some devastating numbers as well.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds the generic Republican earning 49% support, while the president picks up 41% of the vote. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Last week, the president earned just 40% against the generic Republican, his lowest level of support since Rasmussen Reports began testing the matchup in early May. The latest findings mark the eighth week in a row the generic Republican has led Obama. Since early May, the Republican has earned 43% to 49% support, while the president has picked up 40% to 45% of the vote.


And you know this crew in the White House are pissed off that they had to kill Bin Laden so early and not closer to the election. Poor babies will have to settle for only a movie to try to boost his numbers again.
