Holy moly, the Ravens can still win the division next week!

I thought they were toast, but if they beat the Steelers next week, they take the AFC North division after stinking it up most of the year. Wow crazy.
Who do I need to root against for this to happen? I love seeing stuff like this. Come backs no one expected. Wha has to happen? Who has to win/lose? Suddenly I'm interested.

As a Lion's fan I have to find something else to care about coming into the playoffs. Don't worry. Don't feel bad. We are used to it. We can't even win our division how the **** are we ever going to win a Superbowl?

It's already set, the Ravens and Steelers play for the division next week in Pittsburgh.

**** yea! I love it when I see two teams with good records are playing each other. And the game matters. Doesn't have to be my team I'm still interested.

You think that is wild?

If the Niners can win next weekend against Seattle, then they never have to go on the road again right threw the Superbowl.

Superbowl 60 is in Santa Clara, SF's home stadium.

They win straight threw the playoffs... Well, I hear that there have been teams that played in the big game in their own house.

Did you see SF v Chi last night?

That was one of the best games I've seen all year.

Those Niner coaches did a heckuva job managing around all those key injuries.

I've been a Niner since '73. I had, earlier this year, written them off. Injuries and they just didn't look that sharp.

Suddenly, I discover that they are in a position I have rarely seen in the NFL. They truly have their own destiny in their own hands.

They need just win three more games.

trust me I am baffled as well, the browns were a gift and they have a massive winning record against them the past 20+ years and they blew it badly

if DK was not such a dick swiping at that fan I think they win, he is probably their best WR

he screwed the team by not just ignoring a heckler

If Jackson starts the Ravens lose. If Jackson sits, the Ravens should win, but you can't count out how bad Harbaugh is, he could still give it to the Steelers.

Not having DK really hurt them in Cleveland, I watched that whole game.

They won't do it. I just heard no Bosa? Right now I'm picking Seattle. But then I always root for the underdog so I'll be pulling for SF. I have no dog in this fight and I've always liked SF. But if SF is up by 5 with 2 minutes left do I want to see the other team come back and do it? Of course.

Hey, my favorite football player right now, hands down is Puka Nacua for the Rams. He caught that ******* ball last night. He is amazing. Unbelievable. Unstoppable. A great weapon for Stafford to have.

The Seahawks will be the test for SF.

I'm definitely going to draft him for my fantasy team next year. He is a freak.

I think the Ravens WILL beat the Stinkers. Pittsburgh COULD (and should) have ended with a 10-7 or even an 11-6 record.

The Lions should have beaten them, then the Packers should have beat the Ravens, and the Steelers should have demolished the Browns.

Instead, the Steelers LUCKED into a Lion defeat, then were actually SCHOOLED by a team with only 3 wins for the entire year. The Browns handed the Steelers their worse defeat of the year. And much of the blame looks to be as much on Metcalf as it is Rodgers.
  • Metcalf was suspended for 2 games for something no player has ever been suspended for before. Worse, there is now evidence the fan has stalked Metcalf for years and the NFL has refused to do anything about the guy.
  • Rogers made up his own game plan bypassing and ignoring several of Pittsburgh's proven key players when they were open to try to force the ball to an old buddy of his that just came off Pittsburgh's practice squad.
Instead, the Steel City will again crash and burn and go from a #4 seed legitimate contender with an easy home game in the playoffs and a bye week with Baltimore they could have rested some players, to now battling for their life and losing, dropping completely out of the Playoffs.

I think Ravens will play Lamar, and Baltimore will ram the ball down Pittsburgh's throat making them their *****. But no matter, even if Pittsburgh somehow wins, they will be beaten by the first team in the Playoffs.

I didn't watch, but Chicago should have beaten Balt. as well! Rodgers isn't doing anything spectacular so that's the reason the Ravens have been given the benefit of the doubt even though they've been underwater all year! Commentators seemed to keep faith w/ Balt. pulling it out all in the end! I thought them insane; sorta like trying to keep KC "in it" to the end! Unfortunately for the Chiefs, the rest of the division has caught up to them & they couldn't get away w/ just "getting by" as they did last season! Only The Raiders are lagging behind so it's going to take a Herculean effort to get back to where they were! :stir: :dunno::rolleyes::nono:

the Ravens have been given the benefit of the doubt even though they've been underwater all year! Commentators seemed to keep faith w/ Balt.

And the reason is because the Ravens have earned their respect. Consider this:
  • The Ravens have been battered and beaten a long time, Pittsburgh has lead them all season, Jackson is hurt. No one would have been surprised if Baltimore simply had faded away quietly this year. Instead as the underdogs, Baltimore took it to the Packers and rammed 44 points down their throats, and now stands at the threshold of winning a Division.
  • In contrast, Pittsburgh has a HOF QB, the highest-paid defense in the NFL plus many other attributes, despite that and already having #4 seed, all they had to do was beat a 3-win Browns team to secure the division, and they not only lost, but they didn't even show up to play, barely managing to kick a pair of field goals. Pittsburgh was so bad that even Cleveland's unknown rookie QB Sanders had a better QB Rating than Aaron Rodgers.
Pittsburgh was finally the heavy favorite to beat Cleveland in that game having earned back some trust that they were finally on an upward vector and some of that talent and investment in the team was beginning to pay off-- lessons learned: instead of a 2nd bye week, now they will have a knock down drag out slobberknocker fight to the death fighting for their very lives to even make it into the playoffs at all! And now they are the betting underdogs to Baltimore. Pittsburgh has BLOWN every opportunity to be a playoff team now except just plain dumb luck.

Even the pros expect Baltimore to kick Pittsburgh's rank punk ass this sunday. Whereas Baltimore has played up above their expected level to now strike at Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh has continually played down below expectation to now finally be at the threshold of totally missing the playoffs again.

Now they lose home field advantage in the playoffs if they should happen to make it, they lose a week of rest instead going in battered and sore, and they will have to play a higher-ranked team who will summarily hold Pittsburgh by the nose while they kick them in the ass.

In ALL of the storied 21 year career of Tomlin the coach, he has only ever won four playoff games. Good teams surprise you by doing what they have to do to get things done even when everything is stacked against them; the Ravens have shown some of that spark, Pittsburgh hasn't.

Tomlin's team continually doesn't just lose because the other team outplayed them, they lose because the team stuck a shotgun it its own face and beats itself--- worse, they do it making bizarre and befuddling decisions, then never even will admit they made a bad mistake and keep trying to do it again. They especially fall apart on their faces even in those times they most should have easily clobbered the other team.

Coach Tomlin is a DEI bum who has no ability to get any consistency whatsoever from his teams throughout a full game much less from week to week. Pittsburgh has no business in the Playoffs at all other than if they stumble in by sheer dumb luck.

You never know what kind of team is going to show up from week to week with Mike Tomlin. You get no effort, no focus, bad mistakes, and hapless penalties. The team lacks discipline. They say the players like Tomlin--- sure! He is too easy to work for and they do not fear him, Tomlin does not have the eye of the tiger. All of the good, all of the talent, all of the respect that the players in Pittsburgh /should/ be getting is utterly lost on Tomlin's inability to coach a team that from week to week is both well-prepared and highly motivated to make their best effort on the field.

Aaron Rogers is so ******* lucky!!! This season should have been a ******* failure for that arrogant prick. But now he's going to get to say he made the ******* playoffs. No you ******* didn't. Your team lost. You were in the locker room with your pads off packing up to go to your Miami gay nightclubs that you go to when you heard the kicker missed.
