That argument is extra mixed up. First are we lying? No we are not lying. Do we want equal opportunity. YES we do. We do not want equal outcomes and we mean putting unqualified into management positions. We support merit. If you have a university degree, I do not support me being a professor at the university when you hold the degree of a professor. I support students who merit higher levels get to apply for those levels. Color means nothing to me since we have no control over color. IF you are black as you claim, it is not your fault. Parents determine color not the children.Let's just get to the point here. Right-wingers are lying about what they want. Their claim is that they want equal opportunity for everyone. But the reality is they are advocating for white preferential treatment. If this were not the case, those in opposition would not be presenting this argument solely in discussions about people of color who are hired in high-level positions. They claim that DEI leads to hiring unqualified individuals from diverse backgrounds. What is never considered is the fact that unqualified whites exist.
