When a company like Hobby Lobby treats their employees as well as they do for the life of me I cannot understand the absolutely deplorable over the top psycho posts and comments I've been reading today because the SCOTUS ruled in favor of the company.

There's a B&B (bent and Broken) not too far from here that has all the food WalMart has AND it's run by the Amish which is a plus. We also have an Aldi's that's even closer when we need just a few things. Hobby Lobby when I need stuff for my R/C Model Airplane hobby.

And now we have an Amazon Prime account that we've been using for the last year to take advantage of the low prices AND free two day shipping on most items.

Hobby Lobby opened a store here this past year, several people that I know who worked in Retail went to apply there, because full time jobs in retail starting at $14 are hard to come by in Maine....but Hobby Lobby ONLY was hiring for part time positions, there were no full time positions that they were hiring for....

so one of the people that did get hired part time who interviewed there, was hired at less than $10 an hour, but she is hoping that Hobby Lobby will be picking the best of the best part timers to move up to full time once they prove themselves, and she's hoping to be one of them..... but that's just a hope....who knows?
