Well, a big part of the problem is the partitioning the world into "white hats" and "black hats". That's not how humans are. Well, that's natural when you have a group of white insurrectionists storming the Capitol trying to overthrow the government because their man lost or some goofy conspiracy group thinks politicians eat babies and that there is some master plan to address decades of white grievance. Again, no one likes seeing the property damage, especially to someone's business during a pandemic. But the root of those protests were in seeking social justice. Not overthrowing the government.
