It would have been remiss if federal and state officials had not made sure that there was the highest level of security for the inauguration. Not only was there a terrorist attack on the Capitol during the counting of the electoral votes, which the Congress is obligated to do by the U.S. Constitution, catching the capitol cops unprepared. But there was also an increased level of chatter on the internet indicating that more attacks could occur in DC and in state capitols on Inauguration Day. The previous administration had deliberately ignored, and perhaps facilitated, the rise of domestic terrorism for the last four years, and there already had been a plot uncovered to kidnap and probably murder a state governor.
Seriously, what did you expect? Our democracy had already been attacked. I live a few highway exits down from the 14th Street Bridge, which goes straight into the National Mall. You don't know how frightening Jan. 6 was, screaming at the TV about where the National Guard was, seeing the Marylanders and our Virginians finally arrive, and being put under curfew here on the Virginia side. Don't be a fool.
This coming from a SJW loser who supported the Anti-fa/BLM riots.
What a fucking hypocrite you are.
I support BLM. I never supported any riots. I have never known what "antifa" is or if it actually exists. Of course I support social justice.
I would not say that it is hypocritical to oppose terrorism, and particularly that aimed at the destruction of democracy. You seem to support terrorism.
What a fucking liar you are.
You overblow one protest and ignore others. You pretend anti-fa doesn't exist.
I guess all those properties in blue cities just burned themselves to the ground, that courthouse in Portland just attacked itself, and the CHAZ/CHOP zone in Seattle never happened.
Social justice isn't justice, it's authoritarianism wrapped in lefty bullshit.
There have been many riots in our history. Do some research on riots. This was a direct, planned terrorist attack on the seat of the United States Government while Congress was carrying out its duty under the Constitution. There is no comparison. People always seek to do justice; it is even in our Pledge of Allegiance. Go away, terrorist lover.
It was a protest that got out of hand, and that ended when the people participating LEFT OF THEIR OWN ACCORD.
One day.
Meanwhile the Anti-fa/BLM types are still doing what they do best, destroy things, and you cheer it on by ignoring it.
It was a protest that got out of hand and turned into INSURRECTION>
Most left only when the National guard arrived and they knew that they'd get arrested if they stayed.
It was not an insurrection. There had to be an actual mechanism for them to get or take power, there was none.
They delayed a voting process less than 8 hours.
Overwhelming the Capitol police by brute force was all the 'actual mechanism' that they needed.
The fact that they were unable to find and pursue Congress doesn't absolve them.
What "brute force"?
Some of them pushed their way past the police, others followed.
Seriously?
They beat police officers - killing one. They broke thru windows and doors. They used their combined body strength to push thru police lines.
That's brute force.
No matter how you wiggle and squirm, it will not change reality...or convince anyone of your stupidity!
it hasn't been proven that that officer died due to any altercation.
pushing through a line without overt violence is civil disobedience.
If they broke shit, charge them for breaking shit, if they assaulted people charge them for assault.
Stop trying to turn this into a stopped revolution for political purposes you soi boi cuck.
You probably pee sitting down like most SJW "men"
