Dear DOTR thanks for posting this.
It reminds me how hostile the left is towards Christians teaching that gays can heal of past abuses and change orientation if it's unnatural because of those abuses. Here the agenda is to change their beliefs on birth control and men having different roles than women. If liberals reject Christian conversion of beliefs about LGBT, why practice conversion of Catholic beliefs. Why criticize those for thinking LGBT needs to change, while trying to change ppls Catholic beliefs. Very curious.

Thanks ding. Someone else brought up forgiveness. If we forgive selectively and only forgive and help our own, then we are biased hypocrites. If we forgive and help all others to forgive to correct and to help each other do better, we are still hypocrites with biases but we deliberately work with others of the opposite bias to check and balance our omissions. This is a secular way of saying were all sinners, we're all biased, and only God and Jesus represent perfect Truth and Justice which is so universally inclusive all ppl are treated equally according to their own. None of us is that perfect. We either forgive our biases and try to work around them anyway, or we selectively forgive and reject. All ppl do this.

Dear Votto the Democratic platform states beliefs. These are political beliefs. The TX DP platform states we BELIEVE health care is a right not a privilege. (As members of GOP believe right to life extends to unborn) Democrats who believe in banning the choice of reparative therapy but not abortion while defending the right of parents deciding transgender transition for their minor children have opposite beliefs of their counterparts who believe in banning the choice of abortion defending the choice of reparative therapy for gays who choose to change and opposing parents for imposing transgender transition on minor children. These are examples of faith based political beliefs, and yes some of these are found in the platforms of the parties. Which are the equivalent of Political Religions pushed into public policy. Which is why both sides protest the other, for doing the same thing they are doing.

(As members of GOP believe right to life extends to unborn) Democrats who believe in banning the choice of reparative therapy but not abortion while defending the right of parents deciding transgender transition for their minor children have opposite beliefs of their counterparts who believe in banning the choice of abortion defending the choice of reparative therapy for gays who choose to change and opposing parents for imposing transgender transition on minor children. These are examples of faith based political beliefs, and yes some of these are found in the platforms of the parties. Which are the equivalent of Political Religions pushed into public policy. Which is why both sides protest the other, for doing the same thing they are doing.

There is an argument to be made for this, but I doubt I would have it with you until you could first admit that a new human life is created at conception and that it is wrong to end a human life.
