Here's how I think this will play out.

Trump allies push to punish Jack Smith in first test of retribution vow

Even as Jack Smith moved to wind down his federal election interference case against Donald Trump on Friday, House Republicans took an initial step toward investigating the special counsel, setting up an early test of how the president-elect’s calls for retribution will play out.

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Georgia) asked Smith’s office to preserve all records of the historic classified document and election interference probes, a routine first step in congressional inquiries, law enforcement investigations and litigation. Elon Musk, the X owner who spent more than $100 million boosting Trump’s campaign, responded to the House Republicans’ letter by posting, “Jack Smith’s abuse of the justice system cannot go unpunished.”

Obviously, trump feels he must discredit Smith and his investigations. So he's going to unleash the Crazy in the House to do his dirty work. Will House committee's be spending time proving trump's innocence? No......cuz they can't, the evidence shows he's guilty.

They will instead attempt to smear the investigators. Assassinate their characters like trump always does. It's what he did to the grand juries, and the judges, and even the judge's clerk in his civil cases. It's what he's done to Smith, to James, to Bragg, to Garland, to anyone involved in the pursuit of holding Don accountable. He's hoping to find some tiny thing and blow it out of proportion like he did in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. To muddy the waters. To substitute impugning the character of the prosecutors for proof of innocence. Because he doesn't have any of that. Which doesn't matter..........because The Following will buy whatever he's selling.

Sure....why not? Smith should at the least be disbarred for taking part in the plot to undermine Trump's plan to run for President. Those trials were nothing more lawfare, designed to keep him out of office.

So fuck Jack Smith. He'll be lucky if he doesn't end up in prison.

That is the best representation of brainwashing I've seen.

Yeah well, trumps enemies are literally trying to assassinate him.

Listen here fuckstick: If you think we're going to "forgive and forget" what you people did to us for the last 8 years, you have something entirely different coming to you. I would suggest you find a nice quiet place and hide out for the next four years, because we're on to you and your gaslighting bullshit. I'll even supply the cardboard boxes free of charge, when you start packing up your shit.

Color me unsurprised you are on board with trump's plan to appease The Following by trying to exact revenge against those who sought to enforce the rule of law.

"Rule of law" my ass. Lawfare like Smith was involved in is nothing decent American people believe in. You fuckers were engaged in a witch hunt, pure and simple. And now you're going to pay for it by way of a legal election and the consequences that follow.

Just remember: Whatever happens is on your own heads. You own it, lock, stock, and barrel.

Your game.

Your rules.

You hate it NOW??

Aw
Do you understand the difference between prosecutors following grand jury instructions by issuing indictments, and having the indicted person seek revenge against said prosecutors?

Your over use of that word is like a crutch. You can't articulate how it applies to the process of the indictments being issued for trump's alleged crimes.

I mean, you should expect these instances of lawfare will be investigated. You can probably expect investigations into Letitia James and fani willis as well. Maybe even judge merchan.

Okay, maybe instead of just investigating what happened, we will actually play your game.

Bring YOUR people up on "grand jury charges", only in rural Alabama. Then issue a bunch of "indictments" and away we go.

"No one is above the law".

Remember?

Yeah, Smith will definitely be near the front of the line.

Anyone who crossed him. Line 'em up.

And again: The world has seen this before.

It is what it is.

Never did you have a problem when it was Trump being falsely indicted.

It's hilarious that you think anyone takes you seriously.
