The House Oversight Committee on Tuesday released a first tranche of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, one that President Donald Trump has tried to distance himself from for about two months.

Enjoy the reading. That sound you hear is an army of Trump lawyers reading through them now looking for everything they can get an emergency injunction against. The problem they've got is they are now downloaded on one of my drives.

Looking forward to the next batch. Which by the way is 300 gb of information. How many files is that?
I thought they had finally found Hillary's 33,000 missing emails which were all about yoga classes and Chelsea's wedding.

Trump wants the budget deal more than he wants these stupid files kept secret... so he did not tell congress to not release them... this is going to be a huge nothing burger libs....
They are so desperate for anything, ANYTHING, that they have to cling to this until the next bogus narrative arises. Rinse and repeat. The only thing all these bogus narratives are proving is that Trump is always right and the democraps are NEVER right. Moral of the story? Never trust anything a democrap says. NEVER.

The duopoly acted as a duopoly is handling this case in such a way as to protect the duopoly. No one should be surprised. No one should support either side. The corruption is rife throughout this divisive binary conspiracy.

So, you’re OK with Trump protecting pedos?!

That's not what I saw when he wrote that. What I saw was "Why should I bother reading all of this? I can just let others do it, when they find something, then we'll know". Exactly how I think.

I think a large number of prominent democraps and republicans were implicated with minors so both parties wanted to brush this aside. However, the democraps became so desperate for anything to attack Trump with that they have to throw many prominent democraps under the bus to get him. However, if they didn't use this stuff during the election to get him, it means it really doesn't exist. They pulled out all the stops this election. Why not use "Trump is a pedophile!?" It makes me think that the democrap party is on its last breaths and throwing these democraps under the bus now won't do so much damage as any lingering accusations of pedophilia. Call this a Hail Mary pass.

So democrats in Congress have the files now? Why havent you guys released them? Why are you protecting pedos? You got the files, so whats up? What are you hiding?

If we dont get tons of indictments, its the democrats fault. Your party owns the Epstein files now. Have fun with that!!!

Nothing that already hasn't been released.

They just released a bunch of BS paperwork to fool the gullible.

Congrats.

Jul 18, 2025 — Attorney General Pam Bondi made FBI agents trawl through about 100000 investigative files relating to child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and ...
So Bondi made it easier for you clowns to find trumps name and you still can’t find anything?

Joe Biden never even mentioned them.

But we know for a fact that the tRump administration has had a thousand agents poring over them for months to remove all mention of him.

And there were so many mentions they needed a spreadsheet to track them.

So when he is not mentioned in these we will know it's bogus.
What is your validation of that?

I'd be shocked if Trump is mentioned in the slightest negative way in anything that is allowed to be released. If he did anything wrong, he is fully protected and insulted.

Otherwise, Epstein as a monster and Maxwell was his accomplice. And there's a long list of assholes who need to be NAILED for what they did to those young girls.

Epstein cut a sweetheart deal with the government to avoid federal prosecution. The deal was signed off on by then-US attorney in Miami, Alexander Acosta, who became labor secretary in the first Trump term in 2017. Epstein’s victims say they weren’t made aware of the plea deal until after it was agreed to, despite notification being a legal requirement.

Epstein was a deep state asset for DECADES.
Long before Trump was a political whisper.
Not sure why you demented zombies are so excited about it. I doubt you are really sure either.
🙄

This is an inexcusable scandal on the part of both the parties that rule our government.

Those agents can't remove what those girls will be testifying about tomorrow.

There is no escape for pedo man. These documents, as well as others that will be released, along with interview transcripts will all be compared against each other. It's now just a matter of time before somebody is caught in a lie. Which only makes it worse for Trump.

Then there is the testimony that will now be coming from the prosecutor in Florida that gave Epstein the sweetheart deal he received. He just got added to the witness list at the last minute.

It also now makes it harder for Trump to try and pardon Maxwell.

And then the problem Trump may have with witness tampering by sending his personal lawyer to interview her, and may have solicited false information in the furtherance of a crime.

And it's going to be interesting to see who those young women name and shame tomorrow also.

This hasn't even begun to get better for Trump, and it doesn't look like it's going to. Not yet anyway.
Do you actually believe that if there was any damaging information about Trump that wouldn't have already been leaked?

Trump is protecting some rich and powerful people. Just like Biden did when he saw the information. The files that were just released are heavily redacted, and it isn't the victims Comer is trying to protect. Keep in mind these are only 1% of the information they have.

Here are six key excerpts from the documents.

1. Arguments rebutting Maxwell's charges

The documents contained multiple filings from lawyers arguing the government's charges against Maxwell should be thrown out.

In one filing, lawyers contended that charges for "transporting minors with the intent to engage in illegal sexual activity" should be dismissed because of the Fifth Amendment's double jeopardy clause.

Another memorandum argues that the charges should be dismissed because Maxwell doesn't know who made the claims against her.

2. "The Government does not contend that [Maxwell] poses a danger to the community."

Maxwell's lawyers appealed the court's decision to keep Maxwell incarcerated without bail in December 2020. In their filing, they offered a "substantially larger bail package" than the one proposed by the government.

A federal judge in New York ruled that Maxwell was a flight risk. That finding was substantiated even though "the Government does not contend that the Defendant poses a danger to the community," according to the court order.

3. Maxwell's lawyers slam the prison system

The release contains multiple letters from Maxwell's lawyers that push back against the way she was treated in the prison system.

In one letter from February 2021, Maxwell's lawyers argued that she should be given more access to a laptop so she can review discovery. They called the department's proposed solution of allowing her to review materials on weekends and holidays "utterly inadequate."

4. "We have her dead to rights."

At least one lawyer thought the case against Maxwell would be a slam dunk, according to the documents.

David Boies, Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, approached the Southern District of New York about charging Maxwell with perjury.

"We have her dead to rights," Boies said.

5. Maxwell denies witnessing crimes

The files included multiple transcripts where Maxwell said she did not witness the crimes she was later convicted of.

In one transcript, Maxwell denied knowing about the sex toys Epstein preferred. She also denied seeing him with some of the victims in different properties.

6. Nonprosecution agreement review

he FBI's report on the nonprosecution agreement reached between Epstein's lawyer and former U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta was also included in the files.

In it, the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility found that Acosta's actions related to the agreement did not constitute misconduct.

Acosta admitted to knowing about the agreement and approving it, even though he did not sign the agreement himself.

You know as well as I do that if Trump was implicated in any of Epstein's nefarious escapades, it would have been released long before now.
