Is there any way to make an animal structure without going to the trouble of making an actual 'doghouse'? I'm looking for a way to get a couple of stray cats out of the bitter cold this winter without spending ALOT of money.

Well, there are these litter boxes that look like igloos (our's is purple) that you could fill with straw. They have a little ramp that leads into the "poop pit" which would also make a nice nest and be out of the wind.
Just an idea.

Where might I find something like that? Haven't seen ANYTHING like that around here. Not in the pet stores, or places like Walmart. Who is the mfg?

We got ours at PetsMart. No more than $20 I think.

Or go the redneck way:
Take an old blue plastic barrel and cut a hole in the lid.
find a way to keep it from rolling around.
cinder blocks work on both sides of it.
