I am certainly no computer expert but i had the same problem, whatever you do don't click on that pop up, can't remember but i believe i went into security setting and found that McAffee had another site attached to it which i can't remember the name of but that site was causing the problem so i deleted it no problem since, hope this helps. But thanks for the input everybody.
No. I was complaining only about aggressive McAfee popups on my husband's computer with no way to stop them. I had uninstalled the built in McAfee on his computer long ago. Installed adblocker though and that did stop them. I have not had that problem occur on my computer but I am much more careful about clicking on random links than he is.I don't either and never have, the OP was complaining about aggressive pop-ups constantly everywhere

try ublock origin, it's better than ad block ultimate.No. I was complaining only about aggressive McAfee popups on my husband's computer with no way to stop them. Stopping all popups is not an option for us as so many of the games we play include mandatory popups which are not a problem.
We need the popups in the games. Again adblock plus solved the problem of the McAfee popups which was our only problem.try ublock origin, it's better than ad block ultimate.
youtube started injecting server side 3 seconds ads that is annoying
ublock blocks them, ad block could not
you get popups playing online games?
just to go ublock and turn off ad blocking on that site
some sites won't work well as they need a popup, usually a security ticket
Thanks but I think you missed the part that Adblock plus solved the problem entirely?try ublock origin, it's better than ad block ultimate.

I did not but youtube now inject these quick annoying ads and adblock could not stop them, ublock doesThanks but I think you missed the part that Adblock plus solved the problem entirely?
I appreciate your effort to help but honestly I'm fine. No irritating or annoying issues. I don't mind the UTube ads which are minimal as they pay for a service I very much enjoy being able to use for free. I don't even after Adblock on my computer because most sites I visit ask or require you to disable it anyway.I did not but youtube now inject these quick annoying ads and adblock could not stop them, ublock does
this tells me it's more updated
you can add it to firefox like I did and just disable adblock, don't uninstall and see if you like it better?
I can't stand trying to watch a video how to do something and then some stupid 5 second ad for nothing I care aboutI appreciate your effort to help but honestly I'm fine. Your choice. I honestly don't mind a few seconds ad. I know nothing provided for us by others is free. Somebody has to pay for it. I like to pay my own way and think watching a 5 second ad is a pretty good bargain.I can't stand trying to watch a video how to do something and then some stupid 5 second ad for nothing I care about
google owns youtube.....trust me they don't need the ad revenue
many people pay to get rid of the ads, more money in their pocket
google is a worth over a trillion dollars
youtube was always free so you are not paying your way exactly, more like making a trillion dollar company richer because they offer a service and then annoy you with mini ads to force you to pay them, extortion actuallyYour choice. Well. I still know that if it weren't for those ads there would be a less free stuff on the internet. So I prefer free to paywalls and don't mind 'paying' with a few seconds of a video I don't watch anyway.youtube was always free so you are not paying your way exactly, more like making a trillion dollar company richer because they offer a service and then annoy you with mini ads to force you to pay them, extortion actually
